7,305 days since…and I wish I could go back…. To the day my life changed… To not have experienced the feeling of loss…and something I had only ever heard of before August 6th, 2004 However, I choose not to. I choose to live and love, as he lived and loved. To continue in his legacy of impact and community. To the Lord God Almighty, who Daddy exemplified, who has been my FATHER and Keeper. Who filled a vacuum that life created and made it beautiful 🦋 We are his legacy…living and loving. So…if you’re looking for me, I here…covered in love Full tribute coming soon… Cinematographer @bhad_boi_cine Gaffer @lighter5589 Set design @okaforgram BTS @thesaintreels Editor @iamshangi #20YearsALegend #August6th #HubertOkoh by @hayeokoh

About 40 years ago, my father photographed her as a little girl. A few weeks ago, I got to photograph the woman she has become. Somewhere between those two moments lies a lifetime of growing and becoming…and somehow, photography has been a witness to both. …the work of one generation can find its way into the hands of another generation, connecting people and moments across them. My father made the first frame. Years later, I made mine. H2H…from Hubert to Haye 🤎 by @hayeokoh
We recently had the pleasure of photographing one of Nigeria’s youngest Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Olamide Adekunle, SAN @lamidz, capturing a woman whose profession demands an unwavering sense of purpose. Beyond the title and the courtroom, there is a person, a presence…a story and legacy still unfolding. Legacy… 💄 @ufelimariam 👏🏼 @excelimages by @hayeokoh
Some moments deserve a second look. ✨ The people. The portraits. The conversations. The connections. On October 4, creatives came together for The Portrait Party, a celebration of personality, expression and community. And beyond the frames, there were stories worth telling and moments worth reliving. Here’s a look back at the experience. 🥂 The Portrait Party, Abuja. Seeing everyone show up, connect, network, take pictures, laugh, and just enjoy the moment is everything! The Portrait Party was what it was because of you. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. You’re the reason we did what we did; take a look at the memories we made. Meet Haye Okoh @hayeokoh , Associate Producer on Agbara Nla: The Return. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to this project. Haven’t seen Agbara Nla: The Return yet? It’s still showing in cinemas! Gather your people and go experience the story on the big screen. 🍿 Producer @chrisodeh Directors @damilolamikebamiloye and @jay_mikee A @sozofilms @mountzionfilmproductions_ @circuitstreams production Distributed by @nileentertainment by @hayeokoh
…some stories are too important to be told only once. Thirty-three years after the original Agbara Nla, this story returns to the screen, and I consider it a privilege to have served as Associate Producer on this remarkable project. This film was really about preserving a legacy…carrying this story forward, and giving it the opportunity to reach new generations. I’m especially excited that Agbara Nla is reaching audiences beyond Nigeria, with sold out screens now in the UK and Canada, alongside its nationwide release here at home. If you’ve seen the original, this is a chance to revisit a story that has lived through generations. And if you haven’t, please go and see this one. If you’re in Abuja, showtimes are on the 3rd slide. Oya, come outside! Thank you for the opportunity @chrisodeh and well done sir, the retreats and prayer chains took some getting used to 😮‍💨😅 but I’m glad I was part of it, God is faithful. Revival is here and we can feel it. The GENIUSES that are @damilolamikebamiloye and @jay_mikee whoosh! 🙇🏽‍♀️ That’s all I can say for now. My girl, agba producer. Last Sunday, I brought The Ufeli Mariam Experience to a party. 🤍 But this wasn’t your regular party. Portrait Party was an intentional gathering, and I’m so happy to have partnered with them to bring the experience to life. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes with Haye, the host of Portrait Party, as we got her camera-ready. Knowing she’d be on her feet, hosting and moving around throughout the event, I wanted her skin work to feel light, fresh and comfortable. The goal was a polished, camera-ready look that felt good on her skin, without being heavy or overwhelming. Understanding the skin, the person, the occasion and knowing what to do with what you use is what good makeup is all about. Beautiful results definitely begin with understanding.
