🌿✨Happy Spring Equinox✨🌿

Welcoming the light, this week I had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with @photog_ruthie a photography student from @inspiredaub who is currently photographing artists and their studios for her degree project.

It was the perfect week to be in my studio @codamusicandartstrust and the nearby New Forest capturing the light and the change in seasons together.

I thought you all may like to see a preview of this creative collaboration amongst the trees. These are some iPhone shots from our afternoon together. I’m very much looking forward to seeing the rest in a few weeks. Especially those on traditional film.

I enjoyed working spontaneously in the forest, sharing my creative process and thinking about how I could be a part of Ruth’s art too as she captures portraits over these coming weeks.

🌿 Send this to someone who needs a gentle reminder today 💙🌿

“Believe in your own magic” was a painting I created for myself during a difficult time. I had the original next to my bed so it was the first thing I saw when I woke up everyday. Then one day the lovely girls I was working with in my studio suggested we turn this into cards and prints so you could all have it too and you’ve been sending this to one another for almost five years now 🥰.

As I’m currently a student again, my studio shop is closed for individual card and print orders however stockists like @youunderwearuk in Oxford 🇬🇧 stock this design.

When I was painting this almost ten years ago (the first of the wild blue collection) I had no idea that it would be seen in @nationaltrust shops or become such a loved card you’d continue to send to each other for years to come. This design was a celebration of the new little ones around me and their wonderful parents of course… and it continues to be a joy to see you buying this card and sending it to people you love, thank you 💙 by @hayley_potter_studio

🌿Some thoughts from inside the Creative Clarity sessions I’ve held…🌿

They’re not about fixing everything.
 They’re about slowing things down enough to actually hear yourself again.

Often we begin with:
 “I don’t know what I’m doing.” “I feel stuck.” “I’ve lost my direction.” “I have too many ideas and feel overwhelmed.” “I feel burned out.” Or sometimes, simply… “I’m scared.”

And somewhere in the conversation, something softens.

A thread appears.
 A sentence lands.
 Something honest but quiet becomes clear.

Hello everyone,
 I’ve been quiet here for a while—deep in art therapy study, research, and a period of personal and creative reflection.

Over this past year, my work has been shifting more toward the intersection of creativity, wellbeing, and helping people find clarity in times of change.

I’m now opening a small number of 1:1 Creative Clarity Sessions—gentle, focused spaces for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or at a crossroads (creatively or in life).

These sessions draw on my experience in teaching, mentoring, and creative practice, and are about reconnecting to your voice, direction, and what comes next.
