Some moments from my time in Paris with the @lairarts residency.

I spent a few weeks participating in the artist cultural program L’AiR Arts, alongside the Cité Falguière Association, supporting a cultural heritage project to preserve the last remaining artist studio, Atelier 11, at the historic Cité Falguière.

Many artist tours, studio visits, and inspiring conversations across the city. In between, I worked on small color studies from time spent at the @jardindesplantesdeparis , and of course continued my study of orchids in the shifting Paris light.

It felt especially meaningful to work and share an open studio in a space with so much history, once home to artists like Amedeo Modigliani, Tsuguharu Foujita, Alberto Giacometti, Chaïm Soutine, and Constantin Brâncuși.

Grateful for this experience and all the incredible people I met along the way. Merci Mila, @clare.a_ & @histories_of_art_ 🤍 taken in Montparnasse by @hayleyey
