At Hazing Prevention Network, our in-person workshops go beyond presentations and PowerPoints. We create interactive experiences that challenge students to think critically, question unhealthy traditions, explore what meaningful belonging looks like, and take ownership of creating safer, healthier campus cultures.

Whether we're working with fraternity and sorority members, student-athletes, or campus leaders, our goal is the same: empower students to be part of the solution.

The conversations we've been having on campuses across the country remind us just how ready students are to engage when given the opportunity.

📅 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀! Bring Hazing Prevention Network to your campus and let's turn meaningful conversations into meaningful action.

Thank you to Salem State University for welcoming Hazing Prevention Network back to campus last week!

We appreciated the opportunity to engage with student leaders through our 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴, 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦: 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 workshop, challenging participants to think critically about campus culture, their role in preventing hazing, and how they can work together to create safer, more positive experiences for everyone.

A special thanks to the Salem State staff and students for their engagement and continued commitment to building a campus community where belonging never comes at the expense of someone's well-being.

We're grateful for the ongoing partnership and the opportunity to keep moving prevention forward together!

ICYMI: Leadership in hazing prevention deserves to be recognized—and shared.

Hazing Prevention Network, in partnership with Penn State’s @tjpiazzacenter (Piazza Center) and with support from @realresponsehq (RealResponse), is accepting applications and nominations for the new Leadership in Hazing Prevention Awards.

These awards recognize campuses and organizations demonstrating meaningful leadership and a sustained commitment to preventing hazing. We’re looking for efforts that put prevention into practice through education, collaboration, research-informed strategies, assessment, and continuous improvement.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress, leadership, and a commitment to creating safer, healthier environments where everyone can belong without being hazed.

Know a campus or organization doing meaningful work? Nominate them—or share your own efforts.

Applications and nominations are open through December 31. Recipients will be recognized in the spring.

Lead the work. Strengthen prevention. #BeTheLeader #PreventHazing

☕️🎶 DAY 5: POURING INTO PREVENTION WITH A CUP OF AMBITION!

That’s a wrap on Hazing Prevention Week! 🩷 On September 25, we closed out the week Dolly Parton style with Pouring Into Prevention with a Cup of Ambition! ☕️💅

We loved seeing 55 Badgers stop by our Dolly-inspired coffee bar to sip on an in-house iced coffee or iced matcha, courtesy of Community Standards and the Center for Student Involvement! 🧋 Along with their treats, students received hazing prevention facts and educational materials to help build a safer, more inclusive campus community.

From raising awareness to taking a stand, every conversation and commitment matters. Because at Spring Hill, life is sweeter, and campus life is better, without hazing! 🐾
Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout Hazing Prevention Week! Let’s continue to look out for one another, speak up, and pour into a culture of care, respect, and belonging.

DAY 4: Life is Sweeter WITHOUT hazing

🩷🍭 Life is SO much sweeter without hazing! 🍭🩷

We loved seeing our Badgers last Thursday for our Life Is Sweeter Without Hazing event during Hazing Prevention Week! 💗 Thank you to everyone who stopped by, enjoyed some cotton candy, and took a pledge to stand against hazing. 🫶🏽

Let’s continue to look out for one another, build each other up, and create a campus culture rooted in respect, belonging, and care. Because the sweetest friendships are built on trust, not hazing! 💕🍬

As National Hazing Prevention Week comes to an end, just a reminder going into the weekend: hazing is never worth your safety, self-respect, or well-being.

No one should ever feel pressured, humiliated, or harmed just to feel like they belong. Look out for each other, know the signs, and speak up when something doesn’t feel right.

Report it. Speak up. Stop it.
