As we reflect on National Hazing Prevention Week we would like to thank all of the students who participated in the week of events! ❤️💙

Creating a positive Jayhawk experience starts with each of us, and together we can ensure every Jayhawk has an opportunity to thrive on a safe campus.🌻

Last week was National Hazing Prevention Week. This week, our chapter, along with the rest of the Embry-Riddle Greek Community, is working to raise awareness about the reality of hazing.

Preventing the spread of hazing starts with education and accountability. Now more than ever, we encourage everyone to keep their community accountable and safe. Lead with your values, speak up for your peers.

We asked students why conversations about hazing prevention matter, and their answers reminded us that creating a culture of respect, inclusion, and belonging takes all of us.

Thank you to everyone who shared their perspectives and joined us in committing to a safer and more welcoming student experience at KU.

The conversation doesn’t stop here ❤️💙

In September 2017, Rae Ann, one of our sisters from another chapter, lost her son, Max, due to a hazing incident. This Wednesday, we live for Max. Alpha Delta Pi pushes to STOP THE HAZING. In honor of National Hazing Prevention Week, we pledged against hazing together. We choose to stand against the mental, physical, and emotional damage. We are spreading awareness for hazing.

If you ever see hazing, report it. The Anti-Hazing Hotline is (888) 668-4293. Let’s stand up and protect each other.

Don't forget that prevention is not limited to one week! Hazing is a serious topic that deserves year round attention, and we at Delta Zeta work to ensure our chapter is safe for all new and initiated members, as well as ladies that are interested in joining! We also work to ensure that we are trustworthy enough that any member of Greek life on our campus can feel comfortable to speak to us if they have concerns about hazing!

Stay safe,

Love-
Delta Zeta, Epsilon Delta Chapter 🩷💚

☕️🎶 DAY 5: POURING INTO PREVENTION WITH A CUP OF AMBITION!

That’s a wrap on Hazing Prevention Week! 🩷 On September 25, we closed out the week Dolly Parton style with Pouring Into Prevention with a Cup of Ambition! ☕️💅

We loved seeing 55 Badgers stop by our Dolly-inspired coffee bar to sip on an in-house iced coffee or iced matcha, courtesy of Community Standards and the Center for Student Involvement! 🧋 Along with their treats, students received hazing prevention facts and educational materials to help build a safer, more inclusive campus community.

From raising awareness to taking a stand, every conversation and commitment matters. Because at Spring Hill, life is sweeter, and campus life is better, without hazing! 🐾
Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout Hazing Prevention Week! Let’s continue to look out for one another, speak up, and pour into a culture of care, respect, and belonging.
