DEM is a project l began in 2012 when embarking upon a solo tour of Europe & The U.K. l dreamt l was playing in Belgium so l booked the kick off date there. It was a double electronics bill with Noah Sow and also took me to cities in Germany I’d never explored, Paris, London, and Manchester. Playing at @ihaveadreampop will be a musical homecoming and a reunion with so many wonderful friends & artists from the Shoegaze and Dreampop community. See you all on October 24th at @pianosnyc ! #ihaveadreampop #thereisalightanditnevergoesout @telepathicwindows taken in PIANOS by @hccoleman

10/7/26 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL FLAT DAY 💕One week ago, Sunday, l met the wonderful team at @pinkinkfund to receive my chest tattoo! I’m 5 years out from undergoing a bilateral mastectomy and have decided I do not want any additional revision surgery. I wore my Ari Up @thelegendaryslits tee in honor of Ari, who passed from breast cancer after our tour in 2010. I wanted something related to nature, and rye grew wildly in the fields where l grew up in Okolona. Walking around the @hustlebuttertattoogallery shop was my first time being topless in public and l must say it felt very relaxed and liberating. I credit that ease to being in community with the other women survivors and wonderful artists and team. @maxdemiantattoo did such a gorgeous job with the fine lines in this art - I keep looking at it so make sure l didn’t dream it💕 Cheers to a new leg in my #previvor journey and feeling proud of my flat silhouette. Super thanks to Yana for attending my big reveal, and Crito for the loving note in my care package💕🙏🏾 #flatvisability #aestheticflatclosure #breastcancerawareness @standtallafc taken in Hustle Butter Tattoo Art Gallery by @hccoleman
