So nice to be back in Townsley Law Arena last night. I will never be able to put into words what Southwest Louisiana and McNeese mean to me. Special people, special place, and another sellout.. by @heath.schroyer

Had an amazing weekend back home in Walkersville, MD for my dad’s 80th birthday. We had family fly in from 4 different states to celebrate him.

I can’t put into words what he means to me or how much I respect him. This man has 2 PhDs—hard work and common sense. taken in Walkersville, Maryland by @heath.schroyer

Dr. John Noble was a dear friend and he will be missed by many. He was one of the first people to welcome me to Louisiana when I moved here almost 9 years ago—a man whose love for this state and work ethic were unmatched.

He loved his Tigers and his Cowboys and we had many great times together. My heart hurts today. He will be missed and remembered for the impact he made on those around him. Please join me in praying for his amazing wife Lucinda and their entire family. by @heath.schroyer

Had a great time at my first Baton Rouge crawfish boil today. The crawfish were out of this world, and the investment and passion behind LSU athletics is absolutely amazing!

Thank you to my man @fife.derek at @arkel_constructors for the hospitality. @Wadeevans180 with @cityofcentral you are an absolute hoot!

I’m so excited about what we will accomplish here together. When they say #itsjustdifferent they’re absolutely right. by @heath.schroyer

A huge thank you to @kuiperej for everything you do for LSU. We had an amazing lunch at @ginosbr with the best veal I’ve ever had.

LSU is getting a good one in Heath Schroyer 🔥

Since taking over as McNeese AD in 2020, Schroyer has completely transformed their athletics department — making nearly every sport competitive and boosting their fundraising significantly.

He will be missed in Lake Charles. by @heath.schroyer

I could not be more proud of this kid. What an ABSOLUTE warrior! 3X Champion, 3 CONSECUTIVE Trips to the NCAA Tournament, and a McNeese graduate. I’m so honored and humbled to play a small role in your journey my man. Thank you for choosing McNeese and staying with us! How about we make one more shinning moment? #Legend #Geauxpokes by @heath.schroyer

You’re free to have your own opinion but you cannot have your own data. We have built McNeese into one of the best mid major athletic programs in the country.

This three peat accomplishment is a product of the hard work we’ve put in as an entire department. None of it would have been possible without the support of our great community and a select few who, from day one, both believed in and invested in the vision.

I’d like to take a moment to thank Dr. Wade Rousse. Years ago he and I had a plan to radically change our athletic department and university and seeing it come to fruition is both rewarding and humbling.

Poke Nation, we’re headed to Oklahoma City and I hope to see a ton of blue and gold in the stands. Geaux Pokes!
