We’ve seen a LOT of live music this year. Five Finger Death Punch might have just taken the top spot. Fucking incredible. 🤘🔥 taken in Cascades Amphitheater by @heathercslater

Week 10 – Peloton X Australia 🇦🇺

🚴🏻‍♀️ 146.5 cycling miles this week
🏁 3,198.73 total miles so far
🏋🏻‍♀️ 60,565 lb lifting volume this week
😴 One 4-hour night of sleep
🖤 Motionless In White • Lorna Shore • Fit For A King • Static Dress

Consistent work adds up.

And Week 10 put me over the finish line of the 3,085-mile Peloton X Australia challenge — 12 weeks early. 🇦🇺☑️

I’m officially finished, but definitely not done. I’ll keep riding with the group through Week 22 and see just how far past Australia I can get.

Somehow still managed 146.5 miles and 60,565 pounds of lifting volume this week despite sacrificing an entire night of sleep to metal. Worth it. 🖤

On to Week 11. 🔥 by @heathercslater

50 years old.

Officially in menopause.

I wanted to celebrate one year without a period the only way that felt right to me: a 36.5-mile ride before sunrise with friends, heavy music, and gratitude for a body that’s still getting stronger.

I rode it as a progressive build—starting easy, letting my diesel engine wake up, then finishing stronger than I started.

Splits:
🚴 16.5 → 17.2 → 18.0 → 19.7 mph

Patience first. Power later.

And when I hit 36.5 miles, I officially rode into a new chapter. 🤘🚴

Thirty years ago, if someone had told me that at age 50 I’d be cycling 150+ miles a week, lifting 7–10 hours a week, and feeling stronger than ever, I never would’ve believed them.

But here I am.

Unstoppable.

This is what a lifetime of not giving up looks like. by @heathercslater

Peloton X Australia 🇦🇺 – Week 5
June 29 – July 5, 2026

🏆 Cycling: 140.16 miles ✔️

💪 Strength: 567.2 minutes and 54,950 lb of training volume (Monday–Thursday) (189.07 miles equivalent)

🏅 PRs:
• Overall Strength Score on FitBod(72 mStrength)
• Deadlift
• Hip thrust
• Reverse fly
• Biceps curls

The part I’m most excited about isn’t any single number—it’s that my strength and endurance are improving together. 🔥

This week I hit multiple working sets at 205 lb on deadlifts, set several lifting PRs, reached a new overall strength PR of 72 mStrength, accumulated nearly 55,000 pounds of lifting volume, and still finished my 140-mile cycling goal with endurance rides consistently around 17–18 mph.

That tells me my training, recovery, and fueling are all working together. 🚴‍♂️💪

Week 3 – Peloton X Australia 🇦🇺

🚴 149.7 miles (416 minutes)
🏋️ 443 strength minutes
💪 1 lifting PR

Quiet work adds up.

Another week over target.

The miles are stacking, the strength work is paying off, and the bike is starting to feel smooth again after adjusting back to the high volume of this 140-mile-per-week challenge.

My goals are simple: lift more minutes than I ride, keep the volume high, stay healthy, and continue building strength and speed.

On to Week 4. 🔥 by @heathercslater

Week 2 — Peloton X Australia 🇦🇺

150.2 miles + 477 strength minutes

5 strength PRs this week, including 11 pull-ups in a single set.

I celebrated my 6,200th Peloton cycling class Friday with Benny and then did a 50+ mile-3 hour ride on Saturday.

The work is starting to stack in a way that feels smooth instead of forced.

On my rest day we went to see Obsession 😍 in theaters—5/5 horror rom-com 🩸 Obsessed is the right word for this movie. Don’t miss it.

And the PNW finally gave us sun ☀️ again, which means I’m back in my favorite setup: lift, ride, recover in the sun…

Still building. Still getting stronger. 💪💪 by @heathercslater

Week 1 — Peloton X Australia 🇦🇺

145.9 cycling miles + 3 strength PRs 💪

Snuck in a technical death metal show Friday (incredible), then right back to it 🤘

Yes, this round of the Peloton X challenge allows converting strength into “miles.” I’m choosing to complete it with cycling only — it keeps the focus where I want it and makes the challenge meaningful for me. 😅

But strength is the majority of what I do.

Daily:
• 10 min functional bodyweight warmup
• Mon–Fri comprehensive lifting program
• 5 min plank every single day (10+ years)

Total this week:
791.8 minutes of strength
(= 263.9 “miles”)

409.8 total for week one.

At this pace, I’ll finish the original challenge in ~6 weeks 🤯 — then move on to bonus miles, putting me somewhere around 9,000 total.

Miles are earned on the bike.

Weekly check-in (May 12–18):

7 new lifting PRs 💪
Mostly lower body, plus hit 10 pull-ups and pr’d chest flys

113.8 miles on the Peloton 🚴‍♀️

Two very different concert energies the last ten days:

Lighter side — Melrose Avenue, Stray View, Autumn Kings
(screaming women in the audience — metalcore)

Heavy AF — Blood Monolith, Spirit Adrift, Necrot, Cryptopsy
(screaming men on stage — death metal)

Biometrics held steady across the board even with two late nights and sleep debt.

Week Check-In (April 27–May 3)

First training week after the 100-mile PeloFondo.

Shifted focus back to strength:
6 lifting PRs 🔥💪

RDL — 195 x 6 😮‍💨

This part isn’t glamorous —
managing the post-event drop, the hunger, the water weight.

But progress doesn’t stop just because it’s uncomfortable.

Stayed consistent.
Kept building. 🖤⚡️ by @heathercslater
