Happy Olympic day! To all the athletes out there, to the athletes.. who represent their clubs , counties, local team or national level .. only a small percentage of athletes get to go to an Olympic Games .. and out of that small number only a small number medal. Being an Olympian is so special and it goes beyond medals .. what makes the Olympics special is the inclusion of all the sports , the inclusion of athletes across the globe all coming together to compete at the highest level living by their values , their teams values and the journeys they have been on to get to where they are to put their National shirt on.. its the pride in the shirt you pull on and the respect amongst the opposition despite gender or race. The Olympics brings people together , it pulls nations together . It’s sad to say that some athletes have fallen short of their dreams but when you look back with a bit of time it gives you perspective and every athlete knows this ..despite what level you achieve at .. it’s your level .. it’s your best and the best thing about sport it the journey it takes you on. #happyolympicday #teams #teamgb #athletes #values #sport #journey #pride by @heatherfish29

Ok - so yes I have been quiet on here yes ive been in a tough place I somehow have a pelvis injury and my dosage of auto immune control has had to increase. Trying to balance a lot so I have been personally not at my best so this post is to say hey I’m still here, managing my health and well being and spending time with myself and the great people around me lifting me up @skncodelondon @lady_cpr @houseofhealth.uk @activeclinicsuk @go_neill @goperformance.rehab … o yes and @bbcradio2 . In my career the preparation was always the most thought out process, the part that no one saw and the part that if I got this right the rest would follow.. so I am deep in this process right now just in different territory. Anyone else carry their ironing board around with them??? The importance to RESET. I used to be afraid of stopping just incase I didt / couldn’t start again.. pressing RESET IS A SKILL! Once you have recognised what you need it becomes a choice. I had to learn this one pretty fast but I still need to be my own prompt. Esp as I have an auto immune and my wiring is all over! Putting my own mask on allows me to do@and be more for others. #Energy #leadership #leadingself #reset #recovery by @heatherfish29
