Last week Pitchside Medical were the medical partners for @londoncity7s ensuring the safety of the players, crowd and staff.

PSM were supported, as always by @taurus.tape.

If all the planning is done right and you have a true multidisciplinary team with you who you know and trust you’re prepared and able to deal with every scenario.

Thanks to @dan_james7 for another incredible tournament showcasing the best of London and 7’s!

I incredibly lucky to work with amazing people. Appreciate you 💙

Still not entirely sure how I’ve convinced people this counts as work, but let’s not ruin it by asking questions.

Catching up with lifelong friends, making new memories, podcasting with legends and living with the Barbarians. There was also some Guinness. And then some networking that looked suspiciously like more Guinness.

Genuinely grateful for the opportunities I get through All Things Rugby, a huge shout to the boss @____fordy____ for supporting (funding 🫣😂) this incredible journey we’re on together. Rugby has given me a lot over the years, but the people are still comfortably the best bit.

A very full camera roll and absolutely no intention of checking my bank statement.

September is alopecia awareness month. Alopecia is an autoimmune disease that affects the hair. With all autoimmune diseases, our own body is attacking itself. And in the case of alopecia, it is attacking the hair follicles. The result is the hair falls out and the follicle may be damaged or destroyed. There are three primary forms of alopecia: alopecia areata, alopecia, totalis, and alopecia universalis. These types of alopecia
range from small patches of hair loss on the head to losing all the hair on the body.

This disease can affect the body at any age. Some people have it from birth and others experience it later in life. Regardless, losing one’s hair in any amount is challenging to our identity, our confidence and how seen.

We all know someone with alopecia whether we are aware or not. Like many autoimmune diseases, it can be hidden in plain sight because it is safer to maintain the status quo. It feels safer to fit in than risk the being exposed.

It is safer to hide the symptoms of alopecia but not easier. It feels like you are not yourself anymore. And, if you’re not yourself, then who are you now?

Struggling with identity damages self-confidence and can feel isolating and life crushing. Living like this on top of life’s pressures takes a toll and can even make the situation worse. Sound familiar?

For me, practicing yoga helped. I was able to move forward with alopecia because of my daily choice to practice. It taught me how to accept myself with the loss of my hair. It wasn’t easy. I still am taken aback when I catch glance of myself in a mirror but, it’s getting easier each day.

Because “…the quicker I accept it, the quicker I can help other people accept it too.” (Heather Fisher Retired English rugby union and sevens player).

Self-acceptance is the journey to healing and falling in love with yourself.

An inspiring evening at The Arding Rooms alongside some incredible people.

Proud to see members of the Game ON family taking to the stage, with Oscar Beard, Zane McCormack and Kane Harnett-Mutu, joined by England rugby legend and Olympian Heather Fisher, sharing powerful conversations around leadership, resilience, identity and high performance.

Great conversations, valuable insights and an unforgettable way to bring everyone together.

incredible @heatherfish29 🏉✨

Heather is not just a rugby legend — she’s a powerhouse advocate for women’s leadership, self-esteem, and owning your story. But today we talked about something deeply personal: her journey living with alopecia as a woman, and how starting HRT has been genuinely life-changing for her.

As a Menopause Specialist, conversations like this are why I do what I do. 💚 Watching a woman walk back into herself — her confidence, her energy, her sense of self — is the greatest privilege of this work.

Heather is a premium member at House of Health, and I’m so proud that we’ve been part of her journey. She spoke so openly about how hormones affect everything — hair, mood, identity, and how we show up in the world. This is exactly the kind of honest conversation women deserve to have.

If you’ve been struggling and wondering whether your hormones could be playing a role — whether it’s hair loss, fatigue, low mood, or simply not feeling like you — please don’t wait. You deserve answers. You deserve to feel well. 🌿
