The changing of seasons is near. We love thinking about how summer's bright flowers transition into fall's vibrant oranges, reds, and yellows. Check out the unfolding layers and colors of this @tennesseeasla Merit Award winning project!

Thanks to @pridelandinc for putting this vision into reality.

A series of garden terraces anchor this home in the surrounding mountainside, creating spaces to gather, play, and reconnect with nature.

Every detail starts as a sketch.

Swipe through our process for this fire table. Initial concepts lead to 3D modeling and documentation, and finally fabrication review before it becomes part of the landscape.

A day at @windyhillfarmtn

It was such a treat to revisit one of our earlier projects, tour the gardens and spend the day soaking in the landscape.

A special thanks to @amanda.r.webb for showing us around! by @hedstrom_la

How about some progress shots?

Check out these images from the Student Union plaza @utknoxville ! Reality vs renderings, and some details. Trees going in, soil cells beneath concrete to help root growth, stage and shade sails coming soon.

It will be ready in no time, keep your eyes open!

We can’t stop talking about our new trees and plants downtown! Each tree was intentionally selected by landscaper @hedstrom_la to carefully enhance the downtown experience. Shumard oaks and willow oaks develop broad canopies that provide shade for pedestrians, outdoor dining areas and parked cars (yup, there’s still parking on Market Street). They compliment historic architecture and create an inviting streetscape. Forest pansy redbuds offer striking fall foliage and vibrant spring blooms, adding seasonal interest and color. All three species are native or well-adapted to the southeast and reflect the natural heritage of the region.

There’s more to come this week as we move closer to the end of downtown construction. by @hedstrom_la

One of our favorite planting combinations from this Sequoyah Hills property.

Masses of George Tabor azaleas paired with creeping phlox create a soft layer of pink that stands out against the deep greens of the surrounding landscape.

It’s a simple combination, but one that delivers color, texture and impact year after year.
