Before you choose a clay kit, ask one question:

What happens after the making? 👀

Save this guide for your next creative gift edit.

Ceramic pendants require professional kiln firing before wearing; firing is not included. Air-dried clay pieces are decorative only.

Tell us your store or activity plans at heerpottery.com/wholesale.

One kit. Many little ideas. A trinket dish, a sculptural object or a decorative ornament—let your customers make it their own. Air-dried clay is decorative only, fragile, not food-safe or waterproof. Ask about stocking HEER: heerpottery.com/wholesale.

If you’re looking for something to in Melbourne…
whad the best time here @heerpottery doing their beginner matcha workshop. 💗 We learnt about the history and different grades of matcha as well as making our own yummy drink 🥤 🍵

A little Sunday matcha moment 🍵💚

I spent the afternoon at Matcha Lab’s Brewing Workshop at Heer Studio, and this was such a special hands-on experience.

We got to sample two different types of matcha, learn more about how they’re prepared, and then create our own specialty matcha drink from scratch (with chocolate, oreo and whipped cream). I loved how interactive and intimate the class felt, especially being able to make something ourselves rather than just watch a demonstration.

Already keen to come back and try some of their other classes too - pottery is definitely next on my list 🥹✨

Such a cute and relaxing way to spend an afternoon, especially if you’re a matcha lover or just looking for something a little different to do in Melbourne.

Matcha making 101 with @heerpottery 🍵

We recently attended one of Heer Pottery’s Matcha Lab Brewing workshops and made their yummy Snow Mountain drink. @heerpottery currently offer 3 different matcha making workshops but this one was perfect for those just starting out of their matcha journey 💚

Our instructor Iris demonstrated the basics of making matcha the traditional way and explained the different grades and materials used in the process. We then sampled some warm matcha she prepared for us before assembling our own iced matcha creation with chocolate, Oreo’ and whipped cream for a little extra indulgence. It was a great way to try matcha in different ways and the sweet drink we created is ideal for those who find matcha on its own a little too earthy or bitter. For the matcha purists their other workshops may be more suitable 🥤

You can book your own matcha making workshop (or any of Heer’s many other fun experiences) via their website www.heerpottery.com or find them on @classbento

Thanks @heerpottery for the invite 💌 taken in Heer Pottery by @heerpottery

Confession: I’ve never really been a matcha person 🍵 My husband, on the other hand, is obsessed😍

I actually got him a matcha set for his birthday. So when I found out Heer Pottery @heerpottery in Box Hill runs a matcha workshop, it felt like the obvious date idea and took him there for Fathers’ Day💁🏻‍♀️
Turns out there’s real technique to it! Different matcha grades, the right ratios, how it actually changes the taste. Not what I expected walking in.

If you’re after a date idea that isn’t just dinner + a movie, this is such an easy yes. Hands on, low key, and you leave with something to talk about.

🔗 Book from: www.heerpottery.com

⚠️ These workshops aren’t running forever, spots are limited and they do sell out, so I’d recommend to book in sooner rather than later 🍵

Have you tried Matcha?
