The summer of Dalai Lama dressing - simply wear same thing for every occasion - would appear to be over ( though if my agent is looking, obviously spent entire summer working in locked room on new novel ) We now enter ‘shoulder season’ when must obtain warmer garment to wear for every occasion, ( hurriedly) ie finishing new novel.

Practising for BAFTA acceptance speeches will never make , EXCELLENT So touching for 4th Bridget movie to receive BAFTA nomination and obviously was NO CHANCE that Bridget making blue soup and setting stuff on fire could compete against Shakespeare writing Hamlet, and ten other genius British films. films. @And yet CUT TO: mid BAFTA ceremony I suddenly panic and think what if - by some freak of nature - Bridget DOES win ? and then I haven’t practised anything remotely sensible ( except to make me and real life Tom @dmhwood giggle ) and what would we doooooo??? And would I end up like Bridget herself making insane speech and running off abd hiding in the toilets ??

Anyway. All was well and thanks to @BAFTA @Universal @workingtitlefilms @bridgetjones my agent @keyaKhayatian @clareakexander, my accountant Stephen, Delia our beloved cleaner without whom none of this would even. my dress @rabanne Daniel/ Tom @dmhwood my hairdresser Travis - travis-gavinlefevre - without whom none of this would have been possible, @kate -sinclair , @emilyjo_s and oh my amum Nellie without whom none of this would -ever have … ( drifts off into Satre- esque existential rabbit hole ..) by @helenfielding

Style tip: always colour -co- ordinate own hair with friends for a camouflaged look.
