✨ The sweetest way to say goodbye…

Before boarding my flight home from Heathrow, I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful afternoon with two very dear friends, @fiona.wood.0000 & @laurapankeynel 🥂

A leisurely lunch, wonderful conversation, plenty of laughter and that effortless feeling of friendship that makes time together so special.

There’s something rather lovely about ending a journey surrounded by people who mean so much. The destination may change, but the memories — and the friendships — travel with you. ✈️🤍

Thank you, my lovely friends, for making my final moments in London so memorable. Until our next catch-up… wherever in the world that may be. 🌍✨

Some goodbyes are harder than others. ❤️

Leaving the UK after the loveliest, all-too-brief time with my Mum, Dad and my brother Steve is always bittersweet. My heart feels so full from the laughter, the love, the precious moments together… and yet so heavy knowing I have to say goodbye again. 🇬🇧❤️

I love you all more than words can say, and no matter how many miles are between us, you’ll always be such a huge part of my heart. 🥹

But there’s comfort in knowing that every goodbye is also a hello to something else — and I’m heading home to my gorgeous hubby @docmarkbowes and our beautiful family in Cape Town. 🇿🇦❤️

Two places I call home. One heart that belongs to both. ✨

Sardinia, you gave us everything. 🇮🇹✨

A few glorious days with my youngest @byronbowes and @tayapolo — wandering the harbour town of Carloforte on San Pietro island, soaking up the pale sands of Chia, and closing it out with a delicious dinner in Cagliari last night that I won’t forget.

Sun-soaked, salt-aired, and full of good conversation. Leaving today with a very full heart .

San Pietro 💙🇮🇹

What a joy it has been travelling with @byronbowes and @tayapolo . They laugh so easily, they’re kind, joyous and simply such good value to be around. This trip together has felt effortless — easy, happy and so much fun.

And then there’s Sardinia… blue, blue, blue water, glorious food and the warmest people. We seem to be the only tourists on San Pietro, and everyone keeps asking us, “Why are you here? How did you find us?”

Sometimes the best adventures really are the ones you stumble upon. Feeling very grateful for this little corner of paradise, and especially for the people I’m sharing it with. 💙 taken in Sardina, Italy by @helliebowes

A perfect day exploring the wild beauty of San Pietro by boat 🇮🇹💙

Swimming in hidden coves, crystal-clear Mediterranean water, and the most delicious fresh tuna lunch with a glass (or two 😉) of Sardinian wine.

Days like this 💙

Out on the water, surrounded by endless shades of blue, with whales and dolphins appearing along the way… and then the real privilege, spotting a dugong.

Dugongs are one of the world’s most vulnerable marine mammals and sightings are incredibly rare. Mozambique’s Bazaruto Archipelago is home to one of the last significant remaining populations along the East African coast, making this moment feel particularly special.

A little sunshine, a glass of wine, the ocean stretching forever, and the extraordinary wildlife that calls these waters home.
