I’d like to express my grateful for chance to be a part of absolutely mesmerizing compilation , its the second anti-war compilation on the @rudiment__ label. “HI” features 43 tracks from top artists from around the world and young Ukrainian artists.

some ready raws , which i was record in early spring 2023 , isolated in my house in Kyiv , it’s only few of them, a lot another often was recorded during blackouts, air raids and massive missile attacks on my country and my city in particular. this is truly a whole “stage, phase” and despite the different sound, all these recordings are imbued with stories and experiences, both good and mostly heavy. I’ll leave them here. I think in the near future I’ll provide a little more information about this compilation... ♾️ taken in Berlin by @hellisfox

the first part of this triptych symbolizes the act of transforming pain into structure,as a reminder that memory is always an imprint , the moment between «was» and «no more».

Hellis Fox is a sound producer, DJ, and visual artist from Ukraine, currently based in Berlin.

Her aesthetic is born at the border of pain and pleasure—where industrial biomechanics intertwine with fetishistic shades: from the avant-garde depths of modular techno and EBM to the analog fog and vibrations of the unconscious.

This set is another experiment, an act of resistance and exposure, where the mission remains unchanged: to dissolve familiar forms and isolate the phantasmagorical, transforming the chaos of metaphysical anxiety into an exhilarating revelation.

No masks—only sonic exorcism, a synthetic prayer delivered in the language of noise and rhythm.

@hellisfox is a sound executor from Kyiv/Odesa, currently based in Berlin. Her work represents a fusion of all psychological experiences through the lens of her personal journey and worldview. It embodies an abstract energy that encompasses everything and nothing at once, symbolizing the profound nature of existence.The alter egos of humanity and the events of the past and future draw us into a mysterious vacuum of darkness, where the beauty of what we often overlook is revealed — the boundless layers of the unconscious. Light cannot penetrate here, as everything is consumed by an impenetrable gloom reminiscent of Vantablack, the darkest material on Earth, absorbing up to 99.9% of light and creating an illusion of total emptiness. At this threshold — on the event horizon — the mistakes and wounds of the psyche emerge, which we typically ignore. Yet within them lies an extraordinary and captivating beauty that is seldom contemplated.

ABOUT SET:
This set is more than just a musical piece; it is an experiment and an exploration of new sound pathways, an attempt to return to my roots after a long period of isolation. By nature, I am an explorer, and for me, sound is something more than just a genre; it is a means of communication, a way to express what cannot be conveyed in words. By combining dark shades and bright flashes, I strive to recreate visual metaphors that reflect my inner struggle and search for truth. This is a challenge to the boundaries of reality and the heavy emotions associated with the war in my country, along with the constant loss of everything that has been dear to me. I delve into the hidden layers of my consciousness, intertwining existential themes with avant-garde techniques, attempting to evoke visual narratives that lead to reflection, experience, and sublimation. I seek to awaken hidden emotions, bringing solace and the realization that you are not alone, that even in the most hopeless situations, one can find the strength to move forward despite the seeming finality. by @hellisfox
