The air was filled with fear and despair.
All-consuming pain pervaded the living.
The era of ruthless genocide
The decomposing nature of the divine being.
Division into religions, nationalities, countries.
Divided thinking - divided humanity.
When the snows melted and the night turned into day
People received their sight and dropped their weapons.

If you find yourself in the dark and see at least the faintest ray of light, you should go to it, and not reason whether it makes sense to do it or not. Maybe it really doesn't make sense. But just sitting in the dark doesn't make sense anyway.
