My love for tchotchkes, trinkets, and treasures began with my grandmothers.
On my mother’s side, the queen of heirlooms. On my father’s, the queen of yard sales. Between them, I learned that the objects we love, whether precious or practical, carry a memory forward — and a little magic, too.

Saint Nimsy grew from that same impulse — a deep appreciation for history, storytelling, and the art of romanticizing life.

In 2025, I made a commitment to stop buying new and start choosing more intentionally — shopping pre-loved and supporting local whenever possible. What began as a simple experiment turned out to be far more rewarding than I expected, and it nudged me toward a long-held dream of having a shop of my own.

As we look ahead to 2026, I hope you’ll follow along as I step into this new chapter — finding new homes for storied objects and embracing the whimsy and wonder of letting curiosity guide me.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has cheered me on, believed in me, nurtured my spirit, lent me their garages, poured me coffee, or made me laugh when I wanted to cry. I love you all, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been building. by @hellonimsy

Making bouquets with my daughter has become one of my favorite tiny rituals. It’s grounding, creative, and full of sensory play.
We pick out the flowers together, talk about the sweet scents and colors... and then she ever so carefully arranges each stem, and proudly admires her work.
The best part is when we’re finished, we give them away. ✨
It’s such a simple way to spread joy — and what we’ve learned is that receiving flowers is lovely, but giving them away is even better.
Also... she named her flower shop “Party.”

Earlier this year I decided to make an intentional effort to stop buying fast fashion. For the planet, for my pocket, but mostly to tap into whatever creative energy I had within my reach. When my grandmother passed, I inherited a lot of her closet. I always shared her love of design and her perfectly practical yet adorable fashion sense. I also conveniently fit into all of her clothes….except for her shoes; a variety of Keds she hand painted with tiny flowers.
Recently, in the attic, in an old trunk, we found a collection of maternity clothes perfectly wrapped in the pages of a 1965 New York Times. My grammy hand sewed this set when she was pregnant with her youngest daughter, my aunt, who was born the day after our baby’s due date. Needless to say, they all fit like a glove and are made for a hot/round girl summer.
