I was scared to share this with y’all but I know there is someone out here who needs to hear this that’s facing adversity! I lost my entire career and clientele due to my health issues and I had pivot from behind as a hairstylist and make it work in another way while still doing what I loved to do. I went through so many highs and lows the past 6 years from my medical diagnosis. I was completely healthy had a thriving career and it all came crashing down within a matter of seconds with no warning signs! I had lost myself in a major way with suffering post partum depression, having a stroke, 2 brain surgeries, a lot of people close to me were being verbally and mentally abusive all while knowing what i was suffering through. People insulting me mentally saying things like “those brain surgeries got you messed up in the head, you need to mental help “ people trying to really tear me down in other ways too! I went from having the HIGHEST SELF ESTEEM to the LOWEST. And with my faith in God I had to rebuild it all over again.

I say this to say no matter what your facing in life PLEASE HOLD ON TO YOIR FAITH‼️God has a bigger plan for you than you have for yourself 🙏🏾

A few months ago I was studying for NCLEX. Today I’m a nurse and a vendor at the ATL Nurse Expo. 🙌🏽

Seeing my business @taidaviscollection displayed alongside my nursing journey was a reminder that we don’t have to choose one dream. We can pursue multiple passions at the same time.
