We love helping our clients tell their story, and super proud of the work for @centralgardens 50th Anniversary Home Tour. With a targeted regional digital campaign and strategic PR effort, we pulled new faces from more than twenty different states and the event sold out prior to opening weekend, and for the first time ever. Plus more than 100 different pieces of signage and a digital guide ensured everyone had a great experience! Derikah is an incredibly talented Art Director who does amazing work for our clients and the city she calls home! As an Artist-in-Action for RiverArtsFest, she has been bouncing around town with her committee to engage the Memphis community in an installation that will welcome festival goers into this year’s event. Derikah is also an Urban Arts Commission muralist who recently completed her first mural on the Chelsea Floodwall, a love letter to the North Memphis neighborhood she grew up in. Derikah received an Impact Award from Citizens for Better Service earlier this year, she is a board member for AAF Memphis and she is a New Memphis Embark Graduate. Join us in wishing Derikah a very happy birthday! by @hemlinetheory

Megan manages more than the digital side of our clients. She manages to hit Disney World every chance she gets, and she manages to knock off at least a few national park road trips a year to boot. She also manages to raise some pretty talented kiddos, volunteer for their school and support lots of other nonprofits around town. How she manages to do it all, we don’t know, but we wish this super woman and 10-year Hemline veteran a super happy birthday today! by @hemlinetheory

This past weekend Urban Art Commission unveiled a new mile-long mural on the Chelsea Floodwall, and we were proud to celebrate one of the selected artists and Hemliners, Derikah Scott. Her mural is a love letter to North Memphis, the neighborhood she grew up in, with a heartfelt message: “Beauty blooms where love is planted.” Saturday’s event was a celebration of how art brings us together as a community. Thanks to all the artists for their amazing work to beautify the area and to Mayor Paul Young and City Council Woman Jerri Green, for your support of the project. taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @hemlinetheory

Hello.

We’re the women at the helm of Hemline Theory: Andrea, Cynthia and Kelley.

Among us, there’s more experience in the trenches (strategy), on the stage (awards) and behind the scenes (mentoring) than we care to admit.

Truth be told, this is more than work. It’s our life’s work.

Sure, there’s been recognition along the way. But what really makes it rewarding is helping the next generation of women find their voice as they enter the industry.

We’re just as grateful for the women who have shaped us—colleagues, clients and Memphis allies who continue to inspire us.
