Today, we gathered for our StyleBlueprint 901 Day Luncheon at The Overland to celebrate the people, places, and stories that make Memphis such a special place to call home. 💙 Women from across a variety of industries came together to share positive Memphis memories, talk about what keeps us here, and celebrate the continued growth of StyleBlueprint Memphis. From a beautiful meal and meaningful conversations to the stunning florals by Snapdragon Floral, it was an afternoon filled with connection, community, and so much Memphis pride. ✨ Here’s to celebrating where we’ve been, where we are, and where StyleBlueprint Memphis is going next. Learning business is one thing. Learning it alongside women who lead is another! At an all-girls school, girls learn to speak up, take initiative, and see themselves as leaders. Surrounded by experiences designed to empower them, girls develop the confidence to take bold steps toward their future.  So, when the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ) announced applications for its Next Gen Class of 2025, Molly Kirshbaum ’26 was excited to apply.  As a member of the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ) Next Gen Class of 2025, Molly was recognized for early aptitude in business and a commitment to academic excellence.  A hallmark of the Next Gen program is mentorship from Memphis-area executives. MBJ curates each partnership, thoughtfully pairing Next Gen students with local business leaders. Molly was matched with Andrea Wiley, Partner and Director of Client Service at Hemline Tailored Brand Strategies.  With the strong foundation she’s built at St. Mary’s, Molly stepped seamlessly into the opportunity to learn from Andrea. Between conversations about unique strategies for Hilton Hotels and digital advertisements for award-winning products, Molly could see the threads of her career coming together. “I appreciate being able to form connections like the one I now have with Ms. Wiley,” Molly shared. “From my mentorship with her, I’m even more excited to study business in college and hopefully make a similar professional impact as her and her work at Hemline.”  To keep reading about Molly’s MBJ Next Gen experience, click the link in our bio.  Molly is one of two seniors representing St. Mary’s in MBJ’s Next Gen Class of 2025. Stay tuned to hear about Molly’s Next Gen classmate, Meagan Miller ’26, and her journey learning about public relations and entrepreneurship!

The question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” gives girls the chance to dream without limits.  Her answer may change over time, but each St. Mary’s girl is guided by teachers and mentors who are there to support her every step of the way.  For our seniors, this looks like Career Connect Day: an early opportunity to explore potential careers.  Every year, Memphis-area professionals and community leaders host St. Mary’s seniors for Career Connect Day, inviting the girls to spend a professional “day in the life” with them. This shadow-day opportunity often provides students with their very first glimpse into a professional field of interest.  From marketing to medicine, students span a vast job market on Career Connect Day. For some girls, it is an opportunity to confirm a lifelong interest, while for others, it is a chance to dive into something new.  “Some girls discover their path early, with a clear sense of who they are and where they’re headed,” said Head of Upper School Dr. Lauren Rogers. “For others, that understanding unfolds over time. At St. Mary’s, we honor both journeys and support each girl as she grows into her potential, wherever and whenever that may be.” We are so grateful to our Career Connect Day hosts for investing their time and care in our students. The transformative experiences they offer create a lasting impact that gives our students a head start in college and beyond! To see an extensive list of 2026 Career Connect Day experiences and learn more about what some of our students got to explore, click the link in our bio.
