We launched online on the 31st of August this year with the simple goal of making Henne Made more accessible and transparent for you.

A play on textures and patterns

The pink gingham kebaya borrows from our founder’s childhood memories of snacking on kuih piring, round rice wafers sold in packets of yellow, green and pink.

Here, it is matched with our Srikandi pants in a fresh colourway, rooted yet modern. All pants come with elastic waist band so it grow with you throughout your day.

We had an amazing weekend at Maker’s Serambi, hosted by @frasershousesingapore in conjunction with @malayheritage, celebrating Indonesian, Malaysian and Singapore heritage brands this weekend.

We made a 2m x 3m corner at their gorgeous hotel lobby our home for 3 days and met so many of you. Some of you have already purchased from us from as early as our first launch in January, online. It was a thrill to finally meet all of you in person and we cannot wait to see you again.

Treasured as heirlooms or traded for goods, these stories are now used for inspiration for our collection exploring kain Pulicat and its checkered patterns.

The Coromandel kebaya and matching skirt is our final addition to our Pulicat series and pays homage to the Coromandel coast that these cloths sailed from. by @henne.made
