🌲 Adam and I have had a mutual love for Lynch ever since we met in 1994. We’ve visited all the real life filming locations of Twin Peaks and this guide and map is a love letter to David Lynch and all of you peakers out there!

🌲INTO THE PINES

This fold-out guide charts 42 real-world locations behind Twin Peaks, tracing the sites that stood in for David Lynch and Mark Frost’s fictional town. It pinpoints the Double R Diner and the Great Northern Hotel, Ronette Pulaski’s Bridge and White Tail Falls, drawing together sites from the original series, Fire Walk With Me and The Return.
Based on rigorous on-the-ground research, the guide is for fans planning a trip to Twin Peaks country as well as anyone revisiting the series from an armchair. Most locations are roadside or a short walk from parking; a few, including a wooded stretch of the Weeks Falls Trail and the ascent of Mount Si, the peak from the opening titles, call for proper footwear and a bit more time. what3words coordinates are given for these harder-to-pin-down spots. A list of the essential sights is included for those with limited time, alongside a suggested two-day itinerary.

The folder includes the fold-out map and a separate double-sided A5 card with the itinerary.

Double R Diner, North Bend, WA – Twede’s Cafe in real life, and the nerve centre of any Twin Peaks pilgrimage. Damn fine coffee and cherry pie, served here since 1941.
Opened as Thompson’s Cafe and later the Mar-T, it was already a local landmark by the time filming began in 1989. The Series One and Two interiors were shot on a studio set, not here. A fire gutted the place in 2000, and it was restored in a different style, so for The Return in 2015 the interior was remodelled to match its 1990s look.

Park Lane, W1 – setting for The Empty House, in which Sherlock Holmes returns from the dead to catch Colonel Sebastian Moran.
Doyle's 427 Park Lane had disappeared from the street numbering by the time he wrote it. Sherlockians put Adair's house around Nos. 128–129, just north of Green Street.

In the early days of Herb Lester, we published a guide to 1960s London called Wish You Were There, designed by @pederbernhardt and written by me.
The Tokyo streetwear label A Bathing Ape came across it and liked it so much they wanted one of their own. So we redrew it to fit a cotton square, which they printed and packaged as a promotional handkerchief.
Both the guide and the handkerchief map the West End’s boutiques, clubs and bars, but the handkerchief has one key addition: the BAPE Store on Upper James Street.
Wish You Were There has been out of print for years, and the handkerchief was never on general sale, but we thought you might like to see it anyway. It’s also a reminder that we make things for clients too. by @herb_lester

Blandings And Beyond, our guide to the real places behind PG Wodehouse’s timeless fiction. Walsingham Hall is the ancestral pile baronet Sir Buckstone Abbott can’t offload in Summer Moonshine (1938), which is generally thought to be modelled on Chateau Impney, Droitwich Spa. Its “glazed red bricks, dome and minarets” match Wodehouse’s description.
It was a spa hotel in Wodehouse’s day, where he’s said to have stayed, working on a novel between salt baths.
