Mullein in all her Serpent glory🐍
//.
Latin name Verbascum thapsus
.
Mullien flower essence is indicated for the throat chakra -
as a throat chakra opener.
.
Because of the doctrine of signatures-.
which is the way a plant looks, smells, tastes, the color of its flowers, the direction of the veins on its leaves, the texture, etc.-
the layered opening in the center of the mullein of its first year growth is said to look like a lotus flower opening in the throat chakra region, therefore allowing us to speak our truth.
.
Speaking our truth is powerful. And holding back our truth, because of dominating relationships perhaps, or deep patterns yet to be unmasked, can be debilitating energies eventually recognized as keeping us from being our truest self.
.
This essence can help encourage you to embrace your true self and right path in life and is indicated for doubt or dishonesty in situations. Mullein allows for the true light to come through and to enable us to speak our truths.
.
I don’t have this product linked to instagram just yet but it’s available on my website

I crossed paths with this one in Pisac, a village of colorful magic in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
This past April I was with the four winds visiting 5 sacred ceremonial/agricultural sites, many abundant with flowing water in the stone water channels.
In the eves we were blessed to chant along with @devapremalmiten and band during their pre tour practices! #babyalpaca #pisac #perú #beritual by @herbal_roots_

So I went to the Alamo Drafthouse in North Austin back in August to check out McConaughe’s film and cinema dedication. We went to college together and had close mutual friends, as he was in my brother’s fraternity.
McConaughey came through Moab in 1995 on his way to try out for a big blockbuster film, which I found out years later was A Time to Kill. He was traveling across country with his dog Miss Hud and stayed with me while I was in a psychological state of spiritual expansion, a phase of releasing money, growing dreadlocks, (and sleeping on the floor in my sleeping bag.)
Anyway, fast forward to this summer where I met some cool people at the Carpenter Hotel in Austin and they happened to be in the film industry. I was talking about a book that I am getting together and mentioned a visit from McConaughey in ‘95.
It turns out this guy Michael was about to dedicate a cinema to him, and I was invited about 45 minutes later upon mentioning my connection to McConaughey.
So I roll up this August to the cinema dedication and magically get in without being on the guest list or having the number of my initial contact, Michael Krustermann, as I missed saving his number!🤪
Anyway, it was the pre-party and it was mostly media I realized and many people were chatting up McConaughey. I ended up being super close to him and shouted “McConaughey” to get his attention as he finished up a conversation and said “Ive got something for you” and he looks at me and I handed him a lighter from the carpentar hotel,🤣which says
“So far So Bueno”!! 🤩
(I give them to everybody)
So we had a fun moment laughing after I reminded him of the Moab visit and then I met his people!
the movie was playing after this pre-party and it’s LIT🔥
