I love illustrating change. I created this femme software engineer illustration for an event invitation hosted by @kennyishereinpdx . I wanted to show race and gender diversity in professional roles here in Portland. The series also includes a gender non-conforming photographer, and a Black femme lawyer. Having worked in male-dominated industries for the first part of my career, I spent a lot of energy trying to fit in and hide my personality. Nobody should have to do this to succeed. What future do you imagine? Let’s draw it together. #illustratingchange Hand-drawn in Procreate, no Ai was used. ©️Molly Chidsey, all rights reserved. taken in Portland, Oregon by @here_for_pdx

Soooo, I'm gonna start posting to Insta. Don't love the medium, but I do love what we're building with HERE. And the next version is for all the businesses that make Portland Portland. Gotta spread the good cheer! So, with help from the awesome @rouxroamer, some pics from HERE Together last Thursday. Next stop, #adxfest on Oct. 27 for the launch of HERE 2.0. by @here_for_pdx
