it’s piano week at @spitfireaudio and were celebrating all the lovely pianos we’ve sampled.. so of course I took the opportunity to make something cute with Ultra Soft Piano, a lovely intimate sounding piano we recorded at @baltic_studios_ last year ❤️

Memories Vol. 1 is out Friday 13th of February on both digital and hand printed cassette. Preorder on Bandcamp in the link in my bio.

Recently I have become engrossed in how repetition can become meditative, and how simple sustained sounds can hold a sense of place, feeling, or memory. Certain sounds can bring me back to a memory, sometimes decades prior, with a clarity that feels physical.

I like the idea that a piece of music can act as a container for that, a place where a memory can sit and return. In that sense, it made the process of making music a necessity, knowing that I could capture moments in a tape loop.

I hope that others can find their own memories in these pieces of music and if not, they can at least provide some solace or meditative inspiration. by @hereiskinder

Go behind the scenes with Leo from the LABS sounds team, as he shares the journey behind Office Machine.

What started as a series of lunchtime jams evolved into an eclectic, industrial-leaning soundscape, blending experimental textures and granular synthesizers.

Watch as Leo dives into the influences behind the pack, his process for curating unique sonic palettes, and what drives his passion for sound design.

Try out Office Machine exclusively on LABS+.
