SO ... I BOUGHT A HOUSE TODAY!!!! There were a-lot of sacrifices made and I am thankful for everyone who rode out this journey with me! After total visit of 12 homes I finally found the one to say I do!With GOD all things are possible. I went from making $300 max a paycheck at ihop after college to my own office and new home with my government job in my field. Times get tough but I wouldn't change my experience for anything. ps. anybody who wants to help me pack up my apartment feel free😂 #newhomeowner taken in CloseTRAK Closing and Title by @hernameissarai

So proud of my little cousin @ohsosarai_ for releasing her first children's book raising awareness about hearing impairment in young children, and teaching acceptance and empathy to school age kids. My girls loved it🤎. It created a beautiful opportunity to talk about the beauty of differences and treating everyone with dignity and respect. I am excited to share a new chapter in my professional journey.

I am three weeks late but, after 6 and a half years serving as a Community Outreach Specialist with the Shelby County Assessor’ of Property, I am proud to step into my new role as Communications Manager. I am excited to share a new chapter in my professional journey.

I made it through things you did not always understand. I kept dreaming. I kept creating. I kept finding your voice. And somehow, that little girl grew into the woman who is now stepping into a communications Manager role, writing books, creating, serving her community, and still finding ways to make a difference.

I wish I could go back and tell that little girl that she was going to be okay.

I would tell her to keep dreaming.

I would tell her that being different would never mean being less.

And most importantly, I would tell her that one day she would look back and realize just how far she had come.

I am proud of where I am today, grateful for the people and experiences that helped me get here, and excited for everything that is still ahead.

I am still learning. I am still creating. I am still growing. And I am still becoming. God is with me always and for that I am grateful beyond measures.

New role. Same heart. Bigger chapter. #girlboss #hearingaidgang #blessingsonblessings by @hernameissarai

Riah LOVES reading. She loved learning more about hearing impairment and how they interact with the world. Another wonderful way to inspire empathy and acceptance of different people. You can purchase this book through the link in my bio. 🥰✨📖🙌🏽🎉 #hearingimpaired #beempathetic #kidsbookswelove #readmorebooks #raisegoodhumans taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @hernameissarai
