I’m deeply honored to have been selected as one of ten photographers by @humansofny Brandon Stanton for the “Dear New York,” art exhibition.

It’s a privilege to represent the Bronx and to continue sharing the stories of the community that raised me.

My work is on display in Grand Central: Vanderbilt Hall from October 6 to 19, with a “Meet the Artists” day to be announced soon.

I am honored to have my work displayed alongside photographers like @jamelshabazz whose work I have long admired, and who continually inspire me to pick up my camera.

Grand Central Terminal has undergone a historic transformation, turning one of the busiest spaces in the city into a living celebration of New Yorkers. For the first time ever, every advertisement in the building and subway has been removed and replaced with portraits and stories of New Yorkers.

The exhibition is now live!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey and believed in my work. ❤️ by @heroichira

Bronx tenants speaking out against slumlord, Christopher Bramwell, to demand safe and dignified housing. Their building alone has over 700 HPD violations, including mold, rodent infestations, collapsed ceilings, and no working elevator. @wmlnyc organized this speak-out and press conference with the 1705 Andrews Avenue Tenant Union.

The Witnesses to Genocide…I’ve documented the reactions of New Yorkers as they witness protests for Palestine unfold. Most folks will stop for a moment to watch and then continue about their day. Tomorrow War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu will be in NYC at 2 pm. We are all witnesses. by @heroichira
