Dad,

We’re in our sixth month since you left in physical form, and though the pain has somewhat subsided, your memory burns bright like not a day has passed.

You’re now with us more than ever.

We think about you constantly and the signs of your presence make even the toughest days more manageable.

Your ability to warm everything, often shown through subtle dimes sparkling on the ground, inside or out, no matter the time of day, temperature, or feeling…. when i see a dime, things feel warmer.

Remembering your infectious laughter and smile breaks any tension, even when the joke is truly horrible.
Your unwavering pride is felt whenever achievements or milestones are met, no matter how big or small.

This new sense of warmth, pride, love and togetherness….it’s all you, here with us, whether we realize it or not.

We love and miss you daily and your legacy lives on in your grandchildren, who know who you are, what you did for our family, and the sacrifices you made to give us the life we have now.

They ask about Zaida Saia and it gives me great pride to tell them about who you were and what made you so unique.

Dad, we love you and promise to cherish your memory and make regular visits with bombola in hand.

It’s with a very, very heavy heart, on behalf of my family, that I announce the passing of my father, Saia Sheldon Herscu, after suffering a medical emergency in Mexico a week ago.

My father was my best friend, my confident, and the one I turned to for guidance. He was the one who could help me through everything and I’m shattered to lose him. His legacy will continue on.

Thank you to all who have reached out this last week and offered my family support during this very difficult time.

May his memory be a blessing. by @herscu

As a lifelong and passionate Torontonian who’ll be voting for change in this upcoming election, Brad Bradford cannot win this election on his own.

He is going to need thousands of Brad Bradfords to show up at the polls.

So I’m proud to introduce Hers Herscu for Mayor, a division of @bradfordgrams.

If you want to create your own lawn sign to support Brad, the ChatGPT prompt is in my bio.

Final long run of the build. Race is a few weeks away. Super-proud of how I’ve turned an injured knee and minimal expectations into, hopefully, a personal best time on race day, *crosses fingers*.

Celebrating achievements is always good, do it often and enjoy the ride. 🏃💨 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @herscu
