Still not over how these turned out 🥹

Read Caption 👇🥹 I can see why you all love this trend. Talk about a journey ~

🤍 2020 was a year of healing, self-love, and self-discovery. My cousin took me to my very first heels class, and I continued dancing through 2023—along the way, I even tried K-pop classes. Through all that training, I lost sight of why I started dancing in the first place. I wasn’t having fun anymore, so I took a break.

🤍 2024 — I returned to Offstage to quietly pick up heels again, only to realize how badly I wanted to try their hip-hop classes… but fear got the best of me, and my confidence needed rebuilding.

🤍 2025 — On January 24th, I stepped into my first hip-hop class at Offstage and fell in love with dance all over again. Since then, I’ve tried styles I never thought I would. I learned to find joy in the journey despite the challenges and self-doubt. I found my why. These days, when I want to try something new, I just go for it—even if my movements feel cringe 😬 An instructor once told me, “It has to feel cringe before it feels good.” (credit: @deesap)

✨ What started as a healing journey became my permission to try.

I’m beyond grateful for all the instructors who were—and still are—a part of my journey, and for the friends I’ve made along the way 💖

Audition footage — Choreographed by @aidanprinceofficial

• Slide 1 was my first take of the night. This run felt physically stronger. My timing was better, but I felt like I was moving through the choreography rather than dancing it.

• Slide 2 is what I submitted!! Timing wasn’t as consistent, but I felt more grounded, controlled, and connected to the music.

Whatever the outcome is, I’m still so proud of the progress I made from the day we learned it to the time I submitted, especially for where I’m at in my dance journey. 🎉🥳 Checkpoint! We did it. Good luck everyone!

Solo # 6 - A little vulnerable sharing this one 🙈 I stepped outside of my usual realm by incorporating hip-hop grooves from my training into my choreography while challenging my musicality.

Looking back at this one take, I can see what I could’ve done better AND I can still be proud of what I created. This one performance doesn’t define all the work that I put in. This one felt GOOD 🌱✨

🌱 A great way to end my work week. @shigeto.nakano int/adv class. Retention is getting better. The more I sit in these movements, the more familiar they become. Overall, this felt really good on my body 🤭 Much needed change of pace!!

I find the solo part of these @noenajeraofficial workshops exciting now. I get to grow from each experience, express myself, and experiment with what resonates with me.

Lately, I’ve been finding my way back to myself and simply romanticizing life. Five days before filming, this song appeared on my feed and the vision clicked. Like dance, healing is not a linear journey. This piece is a little reflection of that journey. 🤍

New York, I was in you. 🗽
Five-day business trip. Back-to-back meetings. Work emails. Studying. A Pilates studio just a five-minute walk from my hotel. My first NY dance class.
