Tomorrow & Saturday, me and my friends dance company Liminal Movement Collective presents Until the Smoke Clears—an evening of movement, storytelling, and resistance.

I’m honored to be performing and sharing a new choreographed work alongside some of the most talented artists I’ve had the privilege of creating with. Each piece explores different facets of the human experience, and I truly believe there is something in this show that will stay with you long after you leave the theater.

One of the greatest gifts of this experience wasn’t just learning Muay Thai—it was the people.

To the coaches: Thank you for being the main reason people keep coming back to @khongsittha . Thank you for pushing me beyond what I thought I was capable of and teaching me so much about the sport. All while creating an environment filled with positivity, discipline, and encouragement. You challenged me every day, and I’m leaving a stronger athlete and person because of it.

To everyone I had the privilege of training alongside, thank you for the laughs, the bruises, the sparring sessions, post-training meals, and the friendships. It’s incredible how quickly strangers from around the world can become a community. It always reminds me that the best part of travel is the people you meet along the way.

One of the most special moments of the trip was having my very first kickboxing coach unexpectedly join me for my final class in Thailand. As well as my honorary aunties come and watch my last class while being in BKK for a business trip. It was such a full-circle moment that I’ll never forget.

Im finally recovering from jet lag and processing everything I learned over the last two months.

Seven weeks ago, I flew across the world to Thailand to immerse myself in Muay Thai. Over 30 days, I completed 96 hours of training in the Bangkok heat and humidity to complete a certificate at @khongsittha . I was pushed far beyond what I thought I was capable of, and came out the other end with invaluable skills and life lessons.

It was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done. Every day tested me physically and mentally. I was humbled, exhausted, inspired, and constantly reminded of how much there is to learn.

Somewhere between the endless rounds of pads, clinching, conditioning, and sparring, I discovered a stronger version of myself. More resilient. More disciplined. More confident. More willing to embrace discomfort and keep moving forward anyway.

Learning how to fight isn’t just about throwing punches and kicks. It’s about learning how to stay composed under pressure, trust yourself, and keep showing up when things get hard.

I’m incredibly proud of myself for taking the leap, committing fully to the experience, and seeing it through.

This is just a glimpse of the training, sweat, and lessons that came with it. I’m excited to share more of my journey in Thailand soon. Thank you for following along! 😉🙏🏼🇹🇭🥊
