I spent almost the entire summer fishing.

Technically, I spent the entire summer watching my kids fish.

I don’t own a rod.
They own several.

I barely know what I’m doing.
They talk about lures like they have sponsorship deals.

And somehow sitting there, untangling lines, carrying tackle boxes and pretending I knew what fish we were looking for became one of my favourite parts of summer.

Funny how your kids can give you a whole new life without you realizing it.

I’d do this summer again in a heartbeat.

Happy birthday to my beautiful wife. ❤️

Almost 20 years together. Over 10 years married but who’s counting.

You followed me wherever my career took us , California, Vegas no questions asked.

Through every high, every low, and every questionable decision, you believed in me. You never stopped supporting me.

And now, after all these years, I follow YOU. Usually around the house, moving furniture to a different wall for the 47th time. 😂

Somewhere along the way, we built a life, a family, and memories worth more than anything I was ever chasing.

Happy birthday to the woman who’s been by my side through it all. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Except maybe where we put the couch. ❤️😂

I never pushed him to run. He found it all on his own.

Years ago, running was a big part of my life. Then MS changed what running looked like for me.

Now, somehow, this kid found it.

First season of cross country. First time doing any of this.

He thought Dad was proud of the ribbon.

He has no idea what it really meant.

Funny how our kids find pieces of us they never even knew were there. 🥹
