A little behind the scenes for the Figure of Speech score!!! Best thing about scoring your own film is you don't have to do any rewrites because you're allowed to be lazy for once ε٩(๑> ₃ <)7з

Thank you so much to Roxbury International Film Festival, Seattle Film Festival, and Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival for selecting us for their 2024 slate. Special shout out to the incredible @elijah_w_lawrence whose work stunned all of us for his supporting role in the film.

I'll be ending the procrastination marathon and making the film available this Friday on YouTube! by @heyyoon_a

Three years later, I'm finally getting ready to release "Figure of Speech" soon on YouTube.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, helped promote, and brought this film to life. Especially the cast and crew — this wouldn't exist without you.

More posts coming soon. Keep an eye out — it's almost here. 🎬

I'm always happy when the director tells me to go all out! @ktony_chen directed a gorgeous looking gem of a film here! Fun fact, he once rented out the freemasons grand lodge for a homework assignment. Like honestly who does that?

This is a score to an experimental documentary by the incredible @isabelllla.esco. This was a beautiful beautiful project and it's one of the proudest I've ever felt writing music for a film. This project was like a godsend to me, it was everything I've ever hoped to do.

Also, if this post seems at all familiar this is a slight throwback to a post I made (before my IG got banned 🫠).

This is the first score I did for @thismayab ! From the moment I saw the initial cut I knew this was going to be something different. Her filmmaking was at the same time vibrant, deeply human, and yet unconventional. She is an example of a filmmaker who is a true cinephile!
