“Some things aren’t meant to last forever.” Two biracial students walk home together for the last time as they navigate questions of language, identity, and the uncertain shape of their future. DEPARTURES was shot with zero budget between the three of us from Beijing to Hong Kong to London, in 3 different languages. This has been a labor of love and we’re so excited to see where this takes us as we go on our festival run. Here’s a first look at the film. Director/Writer/DP/Editor/Music: @heyyoon_a Noah: @ecofinnliholmes Linnéa: @cindy.zhangyin Additional Writing: @phoebebird_chan #shortfilm#nobudgetfilmmaking #microbudgetfilmmaking #quietromance #romancefilm
