@honolulumarathon was amazing, beautiful and brutal. Went dolo and met a bunch of runners from NYC, Jersey, Chicago out there running the 1 miler, 10k or marathon. I'll tag y'all give me some time. Didn't hit every stop on the list, but still a dope trip and reasons to go back. I'm slow with video editing, so take these small bites till the plate is finished getting cooked up. 2nd Marathon in the books

Medal Monday morning ran into some aunties taking pics. They gave me some tips on taking selfies and pics and we hit the statue poses. Being able to walk to get coffee and hit that pose let me know I'm in better condition than last year.

Happy birthday Jerry, bruh cooked the 1 miler and 10k, good to see you on the course.

Dope meeting Ted from NYRR out there and other Bronx runners I never met at the 1 miler.

Runners in dinosaur suits are hilarious and dope and amazing cause it was hot out there I know they were cooking in them suits. So many people running the marathon in full on cosplay was epic.

The hike up diamond head was a moment. Glad I ran into loni and monica. Thanks Alex for all the recommendations

The merri miler is worth the whole trip. Did my fastest 1 mile at 6:47. You gotta stay to watch the elite men chase down the elite women.

Kareoke with runners is always dope. Dope seeing Giselle on the marathon route. Shortie killed that ice ice baby and these Japanese runners turned into her hype men.

Monica and loni from jersey rocked out for the marathon, we gotta setup another beach day, I'll buy the tacos, the pasta carb loading the night before set us up for success.

Finished in 4:37, not the time i wanted but the experience I went through was worth it. Spent all year improving my running endurance, speed, strength and pain management. Ran 15 half marathons, still after mile 20 I slipped a little and entered the hurt locker and fought for my life till the finish line. Thank you for the calls before and during the race. A PR is a PR is a PR. Thank you for cheering for me. On to the next one.

I had an idea to create an event to serve our Bronx running community and anyone else that needed someplace to celebrate the 2023 TCS NYC Marathon. It wasn't easy, took months of planning. I humbled myself to ask for help, favors, and donations. This isn't my event, this is our event that we birthed and now lives independently. Months of zoom calls and long runs working out plans. You never know who you might inspire doing something that seems impossible to yourself like being crazy enough to run 26.2 miles.

Happy Global Running Day to all those who celebrate. From the my first run to the first 5k to the 5th marathon. It's been a great journey, vacations have turned into runcations. Friends have become family and community to continue to move forward.

Mango thoughts London episode

I think of my running styles as 3 different personalities. I have these running reviews in my head talking about what went wrong or right. Every marathon is a learning experience and we love to learn. This first London marathon I should have slowed down more and just feed off the crowds. But you fuck around and find out and I found out the hard way.

Mcrunnington is the marathon pace, slowly down but if the day feels good kick a little faster.

Bus Lane Bobby is always FAFO, will push the pace, race buses till they beep at me to get out of the bus lane.

Ultra BoB rather goes the distance slower, pushing to see how far we can churn out the miles. 33 so far in an ultra.
