This weekend, we're having a special guest brewer in the shop all the way from Auckland 🇳🇿 Nelson Soon (@hibiscusposting), prez of @scsc_akl, Filter Coffee Enthusiast -- a faithful Ethiopia Washed/Natural Believer, will be taking over the brew bar with some coffee from @greyroastingco and @eternalcoffee.nz! Nelson's the 2025 Auckland Regional Barista Champion 🏆, a Latte Art Visual Judge ☕, and New Zealand Brewers Cup Judge 👨🏼‍⚖️, and he'll be bringing his experience in the NZ coffee scene to our little shop this Sunday from 10am til 4pm or until his wrists start to fall off from making you some good brews.

Bring some friends, share some pour overs and have a chitchat with our special guest! by @pocketmakati

Tremendous coffee. Intense juiciness and citrus. High acidity without astringency. Sweet aftertaste. Wonderful. by @pocketmakati

In this competition, I learned to trust myself. I learned to lean on the guidance from others and turn that into my own performance.

Thank you all that made this happen. by @pocketmakati
