So thrilled to see @worldofforgrave in the Financial Times HTSI this weekend… and beyond honored to be in @tracyandersonmethod’s fridge! I had to pour myself a glass of sun tea to celebrate. Hell, now I might even light a cigarette! by @hickscosgrove

When Catherine tastes a tea, she pays attention to four things: aroma, color, body, and finish. Pour yourself a cup of 201 Kindling and follow along.

Aroma: Cracked cardamom rises first, followed by warming cinnamon bark and sweet clove, with malty Assam black tea grounding the blend.

Color: Deep copper-red, with the rich, burnished tone of Assam black tea, deepened by the spices.

Body: Full and brisk. Ginger and black pepper bring a gentle heat, while Assam malt and a hint of star anise round out the palate.

Finish: Cinnamon and clove sweetness linger, followed by the slow warmth of ginger and black pepper.

A rich, aromatic chai made for the season of staying in.

Aroma: Sweet orange lifts first, bright and peel-forward, with jasmine opening behind it over the malt of the black tea.

Color: Deep amber copper-clear, full, and the darkest pour among the blends.

Body: Full and warming. Black tea malt leads, orange brightens the middle, and ginger builds a slow heat.

Finish: Citrus gives way to ginger warmth, with the earthiness of ashwagandha settling in last and lingering.

A bright, layered black tea made to live up to its name.

Another pinch-me moment coming out of Forgrave HQ!

We are now carried at 14 Bloomingdale’s locations, which marks our first national retailer, and we created two teas just for their Hotel Bloomingdale’s fall program: 302 Wake Up Call and 303 Turn Down Service, designed to bookend your day.

They are also the very first teas we have ever put into sachets, which is something we have been working on all year and cannot wait to say more about very soon.

Both blends are available as of today, in store and online. I’ll also be at 59th Street this Saturday for the Hotel Bloomingdale’s kickoff, pouring tea and probably getting a little emotional about it, mostly thinking about every retailer that said yes first and got us here today (@theconservatory.shop - a particularly big shout out to you 🤍).

I am so excited about this one!

I’ve loved Tracy Anderson for years. Her workouts kick my butt… and they’re also responsible for whatever butt I have.

So earlier this year, when an order came through from a Tracy Anderson, I froze. I told myself there was no way it was actually her. But it was, and what started as a simple order of tea has grown into something so much bigger.

I could not be prouder to be collaborating with the incomparable Tracy Anderson. It’s all about celebrating the little moments, and today feels like one of the big ones! by @hickscosgrove

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: tea is an art form.

Botticelli had oil and panel, and I have leaf and water. The medium changes, but the impulse doesn’t. Art is always in conversation with the makers who came before.

So when these two paintings moved me in Florence last summer, I did the only thing I know how to do. I took what was in them, the chamomile and celebratory flora of spring, the cornflower and the rose blooms floating above Venus as she emerges from the water, and brewed all of it, and everything it made me feel, into a cup.

Primavera and The Birth of Venus are here tomorrow. Two paintings, two blends, one very old idea: that beauty is worth remaking, again and again, in whatever medium you’re given.
