Those stars you see are more near than you’ll ever hear
Standing on the ends of the earth
Your desires will eat you alive
If you don’t ignite the fire inside
Just like the star waiting to die
Waiting for you to see it fall from the sky
Wishing upon it
Dreaming big
You’re made for it
Whatever “it” may be
Stay the course
With no remorse
And for the rest
I wish you nothing but the best

6 of 31. I deleted the first one LOL because I love what I made so much that i had to share the art i made without the words.

One time when I was having a reading done by someone who had not known me. I had been having profound experiences with Spirit that I had never experienced before and was called to receive guidance. This was in 2021, around the time when I had really started to come into one of many awakenings and spiritual gifts.

During the reading at one point she had asked “what’s with all the feathers”? My eyes went wide because she had no idea that I was getting bombarded with feathers everyday. They would be at my feet, my car, float down from the sky in front of me, outside at work on a lunch break, show up on my balcony…they were everywhere all the time. This was the first real big confirmation I had ever received with a spiritual experience.

She shared with me how all of my ancestors and guides were standing firmly behind me. I had once again been shown just how protected and guided I had started to become and I began my journey into healing and remembering my connection with nature again. This began my relationship and communion with my ancestors, guides, and Spirits of the Earth

Now I don’t find as many anymore, but when I do they are BLUNT and BIG. I know the way they show up has changed, because I have changed. This happened because I went from questioning their presence to trusting their presence.

I have such reverence for feathers and gift them to people who have moved me, or who I see carry beautiful gifts in this world. I don’t give feathers to everyone, it’s a deep calling I receive before I see someone I’ve gotten to connect with. If you’ve ever received a feather from me I hope you see this 💛 and I love you.

I created this digital art today for this poem of my own eye and recent feathers I’ve found 🪶

Out of body
I can still feel his hands in my shirt
He who just held a pistol to my head robbing me of the money I had

It’s not my time to die
I can still hear him telling me to turn around and run before he threatened to kiłł me

Eyes that violate
I can still see the crusty old white man in a guinea tee
He who came outside to see what was had of me
To traffic me

Lying to survive
I can still hear the plastic chair hit the deck that I was told to “sit the fuçķ down” in before I was almost forced to smoke craxk

God hears
I can still hear my prayers to see an officer as I ran for my life

Walls of terror
I can still hear the door being hit as I hid from my ex partner

Mind games of fear
I can still see the ring camera light blind me as I walked in from a late night shift
Hung on the wall without my consent

Body dismorphed
I can still hear the two boys in 8th grade call me flat chested
I can still feel them trying to unhook my bra

I never went back after that

You can say I survived
But really im still surviving
Still enduring
Still healing
Still calling back the fragments of myself that were once robbed of me at the hands of boys and men.

Im just lucky to have survived them

Just lucky enough to still have a life where I can
Heal
Reclaim
Liberate

Just lucky enough to still be able to see tomorrow
