I’d say a perfect wedding day starts with coffee together (on a dock is a bonus).

I like when couples get ready together and spend the whole day side by side. Then, there’s more time that I can film the real, sweet moments that unfold naturally.

Today is @courtneyraefilms and Matt’s anniversary! Covid couldn’t stop these two from getting married … it just changed it to a tiny backyard wedding.

I was the florist, witness and videographer.. and best friend trying to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.

How to achieve this look ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
1. Start with damp hair. Your hair should be wet, but not dripping.

2. Brush to prep. Using the Harklinikken Hair Brush, thoroughly brush your hair to smooth and prepare it for styling. The fine boar bristles create an especially sleek finish while also supporting overall scalp and hair health.

3. Apply Harklinikken Styling Gel. Work about a quarter-sized amount evenly throughout your hair. Be sure to coat the underbelly of your hair—not just the surface—so every strand is covered. This helps prevent the hair from expanding as it dries and creates a longer-lasting shape.

4. Add Le Doux Mousse Def. Texture Foam Apply two pumps (or more if your hair is coarse or very dense). Start around the hairline, sides, and crown, then distribute the remaining product throughout the rest of your hair.

5. Brush into shape. Brush your hair into your desired slick-back shape. The Harklinikken Hair Brush is especially effective here because it creates a beautifully smooth finish.

6. Refine with your hands. Gently smooth the surface with your palms, pressing the hair into place to secure the shape before braiding.

7. Create one rope braid. Starting just behind one ear, make a single rope braid and allow it to dry completely before taking it out. The result is a soft, sculptural wave with polished roots and effortless movement.
