14 years later, I’m building community again 💙

Back in 2012, I started FBL Bloggers.

It was my first experience of building a community from scratch, during a completely different era of the internet and the early days of blogging and content creation.

And it grew.

But eventually, I realised I didn’t really enjoy what it had become anymore, so I stepped away.

What never went away was my love of connecting people.

I’m naturally someone who introduces people, brings people together and wants everyone to feel included. And as I’ve got older, I’ve realised how much harder it can be to make new friends and build genuine community as an adult.

So, 14 years later, I’m starting again.

This time with @outside.offline 💚💙

A community for creative and professional women, content creators, freelancers, women who are new to London, or simply anyone looking to expand their circle and make genuine friendships.

And I’m intentionally building it around West London.

So many of the events and communities I see seem to happen on the other side of London, and I wanted to create something closer to home.

But you absolutely do NOT have to live in West London.

If you’re in North, South, East or Central London, further out, or you’re simply happy to travel to West London for our events, you are very welcome.

Our first Outside & Offline brunch is happening on Sunday 4th October at Richmond Riverside 🥂

It’s a small first gathering, which feels like the perfect way to start.

Different community. Different stage of my life. A lot more experience.

But the same love for bringing people together.

Introducing Outside & Offline ✨🌿

A new community for female creatives who want to get outside, meet new people and actually connect offline.

We’re based in West London + surrounding areas because, respectfully, not every creative event needs to be in East London 😂

But you absolutely do not have to live in West London to join us. If you fancy exploring a different side of London, you’re more than welcome. 🤎

For the girls. ❤️

Growing up with an older sister taught me the beauty of sisterhood, but life has also blessed me with friends who have become family.

Through every chapter, the good, the bad and everything in between, my girls have been there. I genuinely don’t know what I’d do without you all. You know who you are! I’ll tag everyone when I get a minute, I’m on holiday after all 😂❤️

Female friendships are so important, and it’s one of the reasons I created @outside.offline. Everyone deserves to find their people.

A few thoughts on hosting my first Outside & Offline brunch 🥹💗

Our first event was small and intimate, but honestly, it was such a lovely afternoon! We had some really good conversations, shared ideas and it got me even more excited about what this community could become.

I won’t lie, I’d been putting off starting another community for such a long time. I kept questioning myself. Would people actually be interested? Would anyone turn up? Am I doing the right thing?

But I’m SO glad I finally went for it. Sometimes you really do just have to start somewhere.

I’m heading off on holiday for a few weeks, so I’m going to use that time to sit down, reflect and properly plan what I want Outside & Offline to look like moving forward. I’ve already got so many ideas, and I genuinely believe this little community has the potential to grow into something really special. 🫶🏾

It’s also made me think about the direction I want to take my own content. I still love fashion and always will, but I want to pull back from being so fashion-focused and share more of the things I genuinely enjoy. Exploring London, discovering new places, trying new experiences and bringing people together.

I LOVE being from West London. I love London in general, and I genuinely love meeting new people and making friends as an adult. That’s really what Outside & Offline is about.

And you don’t have to live in West London to join us! As long as you’re happy to travel, you’re more than welcome. Most of our events will be based around West London, with a mixture of free and paid activities.

What I wore for an autumn day in Richmond 🍂🤎

I hosted my first @outside.offline brunch this weekend and of course it had to be in West London. If you know me, you know how much I love this side of London, and Richmond in autumn is genuinely one of my favourite places to be.

Good food, lovely people, a little riverside walk and an excuse to put on a cute outfit. Exactly the kind of day I want more of in my 30s. 🥹

AD | Worth Leaving The House For? 👑 EP. 1

As someone who is chronically outside, I feel VERY qualified to tell you whether somewhere is actually worth leaving the house for 😂

First up is @osco.london in Northwood, NW London 📍

I’ve been coming to OSCO for nearly a year now and genuinely love the team. One of my favourite things is how cute AND affordable their jewellery is because piercing jewellery can get EXPENSIVE 😭

My ears have been through it over the years, but we’re rebuilding the stack and I’m now at 13 piercings 😂✨

Absolutely obsessed with the final result.

Our first Outside & Offline event actually happened 🥹💗

And it went SO well!

Honestly, I’m so pumped. There’s something really special about having an idea in your head and then seeing it become a real thing, with real women turning up, chatting, laughing and getting to know each other.

We had our first brunch at Megan’s in Richmond today and it was such a lovely afternoon. 🥹

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the first one and trusted the vision 🫶🏾

I’m already planning more events, both free and paid, and I’ve got SO many ideas for where we can take this community.

I’ll do a proper wrap-up post this week, but for now, here are a few pics from our very first Outside & Offline event 💗

Can I tell you a secret?

I LOVE MONEY. 😭💸

Sika. Coins. Funds. Give it to me. Inject it. I want it. 😂

And I’m actually not ashamed to say that I want to make a lot of money.

Not because I need the flashiest things or want to prove anything to anybody, but because the older I get, the more I realise that money gives you options.

I want the freedom to travel. I want to eat good food. I want to pay for convenience. I want to look after myself. I want to help the people I love. I want to invest in my ideas. I want to rest without panicking about money. And sometimes I want to buy something ridiculous simply because it makes me happy 😂

Money isn't everything, but financial freedom? Choice? Security? Experiences? TIME?

Yeah… I want all of it.

A little life update because life has been LIFE-ING lately 😂✨

At the beginning of the year, I kept saying 2026 was going to be my year.

I was born in 1990, the Year of the Horse, and 2026 is another Horse year. 🐎✨ So naturally, I thought… yep, this is MY year.

And you know what? I actually think it has been.

Just not in the way I expected.

It’s been complicated. There have been endings, changes, uncomfortable moments and a LOT of rebuilding. But looking at where I am now, I think maybe that was the whole point.

After having one of the best summers I’ve had in years, the last few weeks have been BUSY. I’ve landed some really great work contracts, launched @outside.offline , my community for creative and professional women and women who simply want to make new friends, get outside and experience more life together.

I’ve been building @2huehouse with my business partner Chanelle, developing @xtamanagement , moving further into talent management and creative work, and getting much clearer about what I actually want my career and life to look like.

But probably the biggest project this year has been me.

Therapy. Personal growth. Investing in myself. Strengthening friendships. Meeting new people. Having new experiences. Letting go of people, situations and versions of myself that no longer align with where I’m going.

And somehow, amongst all of that, I’ve realised that I’m probably the happiest and most aligned I’ve felt in the last four years.

So maybe “my year” was never supposed to mean an easy year.

Maybe it was the year I rebuilt.

The year I chose myself.

The year I started creating a life that actually feels like mine.

I genuinely feel like 2026 has been the foundation, and I’m so excited to see what 2027 looks like when everything I’ve been quietly building starts to grow. ✨

Still nervous. Still figuring things out. Still building.

But very, very excited about where I’m going. 🤎
