Our first Outside & Offline event actually happened 🥹💗 And it went SO well! Honestly, I’m so pumped. There’s something really special about having an idea in your head and then seeing it become a real thing, with real women turning up, chatting, laughing and getting to know each other. We had our first brunch at Megan’s in Richmond today and it was such a lovely afternoon. 🥹 Thank you so much to everyone who came to the first one and trusted the vision 🫶🏾 I’m already planning more events, both free and paid, and I’ve got SO many ideas for where we can take this community. I’ll do a proper wrap-up post this week, but for now, here are a few pics from our very first Outside & Offline event 💗 Event #1 ✅ and plenty more to come! #OutsideAndOffline #WestLondon #LondonCommunity #LondonEvents MakingFriendsInLondon

14 years later, I’m building community again 💙 Back in 2012, I started FBL Bloggers. It was my first experience of building a community from scratch, during a completely different era of the internet and the early days of blogging and content creation. And it grew. But eventually, I realised I didn’t really enjoy what it had become anymore, so I stepped away. What never went away was my love of connecting people. I’m naturally someone who introduces people, brings people together and wants everyone to feel included. And as I’ve got older, I’ve realised how much harder it can be to make new friends and build genuine community as an adult. So, 14 years later, I’m starting again. This time with @outside.offline 💚💙 A community for creative and professional women, content creators, freelancers, women who are new to London, or simply anyone looking to expand their circle and make genuine friendships. And I’m intentionally building it around West London. So many of the events and communities I see seem to happen on the other side of London, and I wanted to create something closer to home. But you absolutely do NOT have to live in West London. If you’re in North, South, East or Central London, further out, or you’re simply happy to travel to West London for our events, you are very welcome. Our first Outside & Offline brunch is happening on Sunday 4th October at Richmond Riverside 🥂 It’s a small first gathering, which feels like the perfect way to start. Different community. Different stage of my life. A lot more experience. But the same love for bringing people together. R&B Slow Jamz Pon The River with my people 💚🎶 Just a little carousel of some of my favourite moments because honestly, this was SUCH a good day. My second R&B Slow Jamz after going to the December one, and once again the vibes were there. Good R&B, good people, lots of singing, dancing and me and my friends acting like every song had personally happened to us 😂 Also back at Magazine London after CreatorFest last month, but for a very different kind of day this time. This was one of my last big summer events and such a good way to start wrapping up summer. Very grown, very outside and just good vibes all round. And of course, the green outfit 💚 I got so many compliments on this look and I’ve genuinely loved playing around with more colour this summer. Top + skirt: @shein_gb Bag: @zara Sunglasses: @selectspecseyewear Trainers: @nike @nikewomen Good music, good friends and another one for the summer camera roll 🥹 If you love R&B, old-school slow jams and finding good London events, R&B Slow Jamz definitely needs to be on your list. #RNBSlowJamz #RNBSlowJams #LondonEvents #LondonSummer #ThingsToDoInLondon LondonLifestyle MidsizeFashion

Yesterday I went to the LinkedIn offices, and it was great to visit and have a look at the offices after so many years. I felt more inspired to continue to post about everything: freelance, influencer marketing, creator marketing, and social media. It's been a great week.

Sometimes the best ideas don't come from a strategy deck… they come from a conversation. Had a flying visit to @officialcreatorfest , but it was so good to catch up with familiar faces, meet people I'd only ever spoken to online, and be reminded of the power of real-life connection. In an industry that's so digital, it's easy to forget how valuable it is to step away from the laptop and actually connect. Here's to more conversations, more collaborations, and more community. 🤍 #CreatorFest #InfluencerMarketing #CreatorEconomy #Networking #InfluencerStrategy ContentCreator MarketingCommunity

to April, with love, thank you. 💕 Thank you for the growth that came disguised as discomfort. Thank you for the doors that opened just as I was losing faith in knocking. You were kind with me in ways I will not soon forget. You reminded me that beautiful things still happen, that prayers still get answered. That life, even in its complexity, is still deeply, achingly worth living ✨ #thirtyFINE #aprilbaby #birthdayinspo #makeupartistlondon #makeupartistbedfordshire

This was such a last-minute link-up, but honestly… exactly what I needed. It’s so nice having friends that live close-ish, we had the best catch-up. And of course… we’re all going through it with work right now 😅 But sometimes, pizza, wine and good company really is the answer. Shoutout to Natalie & Joanna 🤍 I had the best time. We need to do this more. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed… go and see your people.
