PBP preparation
.
(aseeekk mashookk pak Ekoo 🤪😜)
"Which training to complete to finish PBP under COT"
"How hard is your training to be a strong PBP finisher"
.
.
Karena gue bukan kuch dan tdk punya sertifikat sbg instruktur atau trainer 😜 jadi gue gak bisa info training yg tepat karena bisa beda² Tiap orang perlu di asses as-is dan target to-be nya.
So gue share training plan gue dan what's good and what went wrong ya
.
- endurance training, minimal 300k per minggu dgn 30-50k weekday dan long ride di weekend dgn 1 hari rest day
.
*What went wrong*
Setelah puasa dan lebaran, efektif training di May.
Eh, kebodohan sendiri diawal May injury adductor yang membuat jalan saja sakit apalagi gowes dan perlu istirahat recovery selama 3 minggu termasuk terapi.. gagal 😓 (slide 4)
.
Akhir May langsung tambah load sampai awal Juni (200-400k) tapi kemudian layu sebelum berkembang karena 2 minggu harus ke UK utk campervan trip sampai akhir Juni tidak efektif (slide 3)
.
.
*What's good*
Awal Juli, tinggal sebulan, langsung gas, weekly mileage 500k, 400k sampai 700k, total 1650K dalam 3 minggu dgn elevation yg cukup tinggi (slide 2)
- jkt bandung via puncak
- tour dejabar citorek rancabuaya pangandaran
- mini banten loop
- jkt cirebon pp via puncak
- speed endurance pelotonan 100k 2.5jam
.
.
It was not perfect though, still lots to improve
But it works 👍😜

A moment right after finish 🔥
I can see the face struggling to get the finish line riding thru hotday and coldnight; exhausted, sunburn, a bit dark dirty stinky face 😅

A newbie who just started the ride in October 2021, have finished LEL, the Britain's greatest self-supported ultra cycling challenge across United Kingdom between London to Edinburgh back to London
.
.
The recap of my journey during ultra cycling event London Edinburgh London
- distance for 1540+ km
- elevation gain 14.500+ m
- 137 hrs total time.
- fantastic volunteer to support rider
- clear path to go with proper direction and sign
- great facility in CP and abundant foods and drinks
- sleep on the street using biffy is not going to work, still freezing😨
- Ride to CP1 120+k with low pressure tyre is a no-no
- Better to have proper sleep in CP😴
- Dont start late, be punctual
- Use proper gear, dont suddently change it. Few days before the event, I was replacing my integrated dropbar 😎
- Any problem you encountered, it's not always going to be the end of the day.. Fight it, dont give up easily. In my case, stem was broken 🤦🏻. FD was having problem, so I shifted manually during the flat or hilly road 😥
.
The first finisher mentioned that this is the hardest cycling event he has ever done physically and mentally
So no wonder as newbie I feel really hard to complete this event, not to mention major issue on the bike
Many people said that the route is brutal, and more likely to be a KOM challenge instead of Audax route 🤦🏻
.
Alhamdulillah, Praise to God, He provided me the will & strength to continue and finish it.
On 12th August 2022, 10.26pm, finally I have completely finished the course.
.
Now, Let's get back to reality..
Thanks LEL for the memories!!
See you when I see you

Dia memang berbeda
Aku senang keramaian, Dia happy dalam kesunyian
Aku agak cerewet, Dia gak banyak bicara
Aku extrovert, Dia introvert
Aku a bit melankolis, ekspresif, Dia mah cuek dan lurus aja
.
But, we prefer to see things in common
We love traveling
We like watching movie
We enjoy shopping
We grow together with our little family
And most of all, we love each other 😍
.
This month is very special to me
My birthday
Our weddding day
.
For better or for worse
I will love you with every beat of my heart
.
Thank you for loving me

When you try your best but you dont succeed
.
Should I keep waiting?
Should I simply accept and be grateful for what I have?
Should I stay where I am and trust that this is my destiny?
Or should I take a step and try to change my path,
even without knowing where it will lead?
.
It may become better.
It may become worse.
No one knows for certain.
.
But one thing I know:
I will try again for another “best”
and let God do the rest...
Insya Allah
