Each artist will embody one of the four phases of the menstrual cycle through a live music set:

Why we’re hosting the next @cycles.series event with @periodmovement on Period Action Day…

24% of teens struggle to afford period products, one in three miss class time because of it, and 59% say period stigma affects them personally!

Cost and stigma can become barriers to school, sports, confidence, and participation in everyday life. Removing the barriers takes a movement of people working to end period poverty and stigma.

If you agree that periods should NEVER get in the way of opportunity, count yourself IN for Period Action Day and join us at @sleepwalk.cyn in Brooklyn on 10/10 at 6PM for CYCLES: Music & Menstrual Health Series.

Bring a pack of unopened pads, tampons or other period products with you to the event. We’ll be donating them to the Brooklyn Library’s Cycle Alliance program for teens (“period pantries” all over the city!)

“Ladies In A Line” by @sarabareilles from her new (magic) album, Good Grief.

A little imperfect cover, on my childhood guitar.

3 years today since my D&C following a missed miscarriage. I’m not sure where the time has gone.

Thank you Sara for this song and album. The fact that I get to have this music from my favorite artist while I am also navigating infertility… I can’t even express what a gift that is.

It feels like walking alongside a friend through all the uncertainty.

Thank you for sharing from the “messy middle”
