A year of constant events.. 🩷 I planted a tiny seed into a bed of soil, not knowing that others would do the same. Seasons passed and now a garden of life has sprung. Now we visit the garden daily with songs of joy and sometimes a dance cypher I visit the garden daily when it’s quiet, making sure there is space for those who have yet to visit • To BrainWash 3, Regenesis and all the little projects. Thank you to everyone who sewed the seed. i can’t possibly tag everyone but you know who you are. your names are written on my heart. (ok now i need to retreat to the mountains frfr) — + Nyah(spaceboy), eunice, kel, replay, shazam, bruce, ladysol in exhibition credits i’m so sorry i wrote this no sleep ily @keepthevibe___ is our little garden. thank you to @ajjjli who has been my partner in everything!!! Praise God for he is the one who blesses me to create :) 🏡🌻 by @hillscloud

A place to pause 🍵 Vancouver is sorely lacking in alternative night life that doesn’t revolve around alcohol, so we’re doing something to change that. Our intention is to create a space that feels like entering a familiar friend’s living room, where it’s easy to chat with anyone and you feel like you can stay awhile. Join us for our pop-up tea house pop-up series in August where we bring to life a cozy late night tea house. Doors open at 6 and you’re welcome to stay as long as you like with access to unlimited tea, a relaxed DJ set, cozy activities, and good company. We’ll have rotating vendors each week showcasing goods from daifuku to mocktails. Tickets will be available at the door as well, but we do have limited capacity so priority will be given to those that have pre-purchased their ticket. We’re so excited to be partnering with Little T (@little.t.xiao.t ) to bring a curated tea experience to life for you all. You’re welcome to bring cozy activities to the popup and stay in the space for as long as you’d like. This popup will be operating every Saturday from 6-10PM split between 2 locations: - August 8 & 15: Slo Coffee @ Fraser St. - August 22 & 29: Coffee Roastery Modus @ Sperling St. See you there! 👋 taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @hillscloud

i feel funny postin dance sometimes but there’s something i wrestled with awhile ago there is a tension in us and pride that can easily choke us up when the art we do becomes our identity. what happens if all of it is stripped away and i’m left with.. just me. is that a thought that brings me fear or is my heart still responding with contentment? I used to want to train hard, make more, do more for the approval of this world or simply because i felt like i owned it… but one day God convicted me of my heart posture and taught me how to dance in my grief, as my praises, in prayer, in confusion and in every story behind closed doors— all as an act of surrender to Him. Grateful to be able to share movement with brothers like @xaviermisbehavior in this life 💫 In another exchange after this video, i choked up while dancing as i thought about how much it must grief God to see his creation trying to operate in a design they weren’t created for, struggling to strive through this life on their own, how it must crush him that they can’t see his love for them and how he longs to carry the burdens of his creation yet he can’t do so unless we allow him to…. unless i allow him to being in street dance, music, making jams, loving this art form.. it’s so easy to drown in the beauty of it all that i forget the source of all creativity..exchanges like these remind me everyday that my movement, my art, my life isn’t mine. I wonder what else I would learn through art.. by @hillscloud

when i dance with others im reminded of the imagery in john 15. i imagine part of remaining in God’s love feels like my branches intertwining in movement with another tree ..or maybe i just like to relate things to plants and the bible lol this sg collab goes crazy +☆ @ema.datsi ~ @_akamantis 📸: @ashdash.ey by @hillscloud
