Pushed my creative and musical mind to the max these few months . This summer I traveled to many places and learned more about house, hiphop, bruk up, dancehall and many other styles of music and dance culture. We always wanted to bring live band into street dance in some capacity and I witnessed band/dancer collaboration in New York, hence we decided to make the thoughts into fruition . Late August, I came back from a beat production battle in Seattle and went straight into Brain Wash music prep. This is where we poured our heart and soul and I appreciate everyone for tagging along the journey. Thank you @keepthevibe @hillscloud without you none of these would happen . This post contains little bits and pieces for what we created along the way. I met many talented musicians and dancers along this journey and would not take anything for granted. Just want to share a bit of behind the scene and a bit of my inner brain to you. . Slide 2: first band practice with some of the most talented musicians . Slide 3: our last band practice with our final last song . Slide 4: Brain Wash final with some ‘Touch the Sky’ vocal chops over band and drum beat . Slide 5: I was having fun for Brain Wash judge cypher, improvised the Ça Va vocal chop . Slide 6-8: I had so much fun curating the Brain Wash Judge cypher, using different techniques to flow from flexN to New Jack Swing to Hiphop to Dancehall and Afro. Grateful for these insanely talented artists and their openness for killing on these tracks . Slide 9: Making Brain Wash Theme Music, marked me and @keltheartist first collab . Slide 10: some chipmunk soul beat that I made but didnt make it into the final music selection . Slide 11: The one and only CEO behind everything. Without you none of my crazy musical ideas and attempts would’ve come true. Your city needs your leadership fr . . . . #vancouver #vancouvermusic #vancouverartists #vancouverDJ #hiphop First band practice right after I came back from beat production battle, with some of the most talented musicians I ever met . Till this day Im still in awe looking back at our practice footage. You all inspire me to keep leveling up, digging deeper and learning mo
