When we step out in obedience, or say yes to something in scared faith, we get to see God be exactly who He says He is. ❤️ by @hillsidechurches

We love following Jesus together!

This week at JHM we explored the Israelite’s journey through the wilderness, learning how to rely on God every day. In our own wilderness season, we can walk with confidence knowing God is always with us!

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ taken in Hillside Community Church by @hillsidechurches

Some of us don’t have a community problem. We have a calendar problem.

And some of us have been hurt, so we built a wall to keep people out.

But God wants to meet us right where we’ve been keeping people out. He’s building a community that shows up for each other: “Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.” (Romans 12:15)

That kind of community doesn’t just happen. It takes margin, and it takes letting someone past the wall.

Which one is it for you right now: a full calendar or a wall? by @hillsidechurches

Every Sunday, over 300 of you park a little farther away and hop on the shuttle. It might feel like a small thing. It isn’t. 🚐

You’re not just riding the shuttle. You’re saving a spot for someone who needs it most

📍 Shuttle pickup: Chaffey College from 7AM-1PM
🕒 Runs every 5 minutes before and after every service by @hillsidechurches

Wanting community isn’t the same as having it. 🫣

You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. Sometimes the problem isn’t who’s around us. It’s what’s going on inside us.

In Nehemiah, God rebuilt His people before He rebuilt the wall. He still works that way. He shows us who we are, lowers the walls we’ve built, helps us make room for others, and teaches us to put them first.

Real community starts with God working in us first.
Save this for the last 12 weeks of 2026, and send it to someone you’d like to build real community with.

What’s getting in the way of real community for you right now: your calendar, your walls, or something else? by @hillsidechurches

Courage isn’t something we have to find within ourselves. It’s something we receive from God.

We were never meant to follow Jesus alone.
.
That’s what we love about Wednesday nights - community happening all across our campus. Different ages, different spaces, different stories... but all with the same purpose: to know Jesus and grow together.
