Callindra principalis, a tiger moth found across himalayas, pamir mountains and western china. In India specifically in high altitude of Himachal, uttarakhand and arunachal pradesh. I spotted this moth in Lahaul district of Himachal. Wings were black with cream colors marks and body with orange color. In Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag, I was sitting at a juice corner when I heard a bird chirping. Looking around, I noticed a cup-shaped mud nest in a corner with a barn swallow chick calling continuously. Barn swallows are summer visitors to the Himalayas, especially the Lesser Himalaya and Shivaliks. They arrive around March–April, breed through the summer, and leave with the onset of the monsoon.#barnswallow #birdwatching #birdsofuttarakhand #nature by @himalayan_fieldnotes

Himalayan goral एक शर्मीला goat-antelope है, जो पथरीली और खतरनाक ढलानों पर भी अद्भुत संतुलन के साथ चल सकता है। आज अपने गांव से वापस आते वक्त अचानक यह दिख गया। ऊपर ढलान पर पूरी फैमिली भी कुछ minutes बाद दिखी। कई जगह पर इसे घुरड़, घोरल जैसे स्थानीय नामों से जाना जाता है। यहां टिहरी की गढ़वाली में इसे घोल्ड कहा जाता है।#HimalayanGoral #WildHimalaya #MountainWildlife #indianmammal #wildlife by @himalayan_fieldnotes

Himalayan Viburnum (Viburnum grandiflorum), a deciduous shrub/small tree of the Western Himalayas, naturally spread across India, Nepal, Bhutan, and China.
