On November 7, 50 of Ms. Shaw’s Spanish 5 and AP students visited the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston to take in the special exhibit Dalí: Disruption and Devotion. Students were able to view more than 25 works on loan from the Salvador Dalí museum in St. Petersburg, FL and compare them to the works of the old masters who inspired Dalí. They also explored work by other Spanish and Hispanic artists, making connections between the pieces and what they were studying in Ms. Shaw’s Spanish class.
