Top of the marnin’ to all ya scalawags out there checkin’ yer blasted e-mails! The players over here at Hingham High School have been cookin’ up a mean show fer you all to bear witness to. This will be their entry into the METG High School Festival (a really big deal ‘round here in case ya didn’t know!) but they need YOU to come out and support them for their special Preview Performance at the Hingham Middle School on February 26th.

Might I remind you that this is a one-act competition (code fer SHORT ). The whole dang showboat has ta be less than forty minutes and you only have five minutes to put up the set! What could be better than that? You’d still have time ta grab a wee bite afterwards and maybe a pint if ya fancy.

Alrighty lads and lasses, that’s enough from me fer now, or I’ll never stop typin’ in this here brogue. The show is free, by the way, but yer welcome ta make donations at the door. Hope to see some of you there!

Welcome to Hingham High School’s Class of 2027 National History Day competition. We are thrilled to partner with the high school to recruit volunteer judges and host the local competition at the Heritage Museum.

NHD is a year-long, nationwide academic program and competition that promotes critical thinking and historical research skills. Students pick a topic and decide a format -paper, website, documentary, exhibit or performance- and discuss their work with judges with the hope to advance to regional, state and national competition.

Hingham High School is excited to announce its upcoming annual event, the ‘Program of Studies Night,’ scheduled for Monday, February 9 at 6:30 PM. After introductory remarks about course selection in the auditorium, parents and guests will have an opportunity to meet with department directors and coordinators in the school cafeteria.
In addition, student volunteers will be on hand to conduct informative building tours to ensure parents gain a comprehensive overview of the school’s facilities. Your participation in the Program of Studies Night is not only an opportunity to learn more about the academic programs at Hingham High School but also a chance to connect with the dedicated educators who contribute to the success of our students.
