Appreciation post to my friends, family, brothers who always pose in front of the lens. Walk that extra bit for the shot, smile when exhausted, or a 200mm lens in your face 5 minutes after awaking. You guys rock!

Will use the rest of 2025 to share some of my favorite shots I have never shared online before.

1. Bas traversing the approach to out first Dolomiti climb. Suprised finding a field of snow in the middle of summer.

2. Michel posing in Iceland, after multiple days on the Laugavegur trail. Proudly showing his 15+ year old @rab.equipment jacket!

3. Lovely sister taking a breather on day one of the Laugavegur. Beyond proud how she easily hiked the trail.

4. Jerrel enjoying an ice cold moment during our rest day. Lago di Brailes is the ideal place to spend our off-days at.

5. Gilles and Laura during autumn in the Swiss alps, a weekend where we were treated with the autumn colours and the first snowfall.

6. Jerrel and Sam climbing on our third day of the climbing trip. Pushing our limits, exhausting the body and calming the mind.

7. Linde traversing down during the Laugavegur trail. Glaciers, vulcanoes, moss and unpredictable weather and a cool jacket. You got to love it.

8. Dylo climbing above me, showing the way. The smile while climbing beautiful rocks in North Italy shows you how we felt those days!

Last bits of Kyrgyzstan.
Unbelievable country to look back at.
20kg+ backpack, wilderness, horseriding and wildcamping.. what a trip!

Now its time to prepare for the winter.

The silence in which the colors brighten the morning sky above the alps.

Another random weekend in switzerland with the boys.
Last minute change from Garmisch Partenkirchen to the Swiss Alps… can’t complain.

Both faith and fear demand you to believe in something you cannot see. You choose!

Enjoying the end of summer here in the Dolomites. Some of my favorite people from The Netherlands swung by, visiting different areas around my new home, started a new remote job which allows me to live the dream up here in between the peaks.
Grateful for this absurd life.

Never have thought making such a drastic decision in life can open up all your wildest dreams.

Grateful for autumn to arrive.
I cannot wait to see this green paradise turn bright orange and the adventures its going to bring.

Up in the clouds with the coolest people!

From one community hike more than a week ago, to spending half a week together exploring San Martino di Castrozza and the Pale di San Martino - proof of what óne simple decision can bring in life. Ridiculous, honestly.

Can’t thank these incredible people enough.

Busy editing all the shots from the last few weeks, but first… this selection from yesterday, climbing the incredibly impressive Bolver-Lugli via ferrata up to Bivacco Fiamme Gialle in the Dolomites.

One thing I keep repeating is how much I love the outdoor community.

Coming from the big cities back home I never felt this sense of camaraderie, where absolute strangers become friends in days. Where you don’t think twice about meeting up with new people.

The past week showed me again how great these people out here are. Spending a few days with the inspiring and fulltime adventurer @loredevreese who showed me a new part of the Dolomites. And where @altavia got me in contact with so many cool individuals from the area.

Cant tell you enough to go outside, enjoy the outdoors and feel alive as intended.

Still the happiest kid in the world since the day I have moved to the mountains and I love it more and more to share it with you guys.

Four friends who had never met each other before in this constellation. One mountain. And a sky that decided to show off.

Wednesday into Thursday we went up the Schafberg above Lake Wolfgang to catch the partial solar eclipse, the Perseids and the Milky Way. What we got was more than that: a sun sinking as a burning crescent over the horizon, shooting stars falling over the lakes, and two days of laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt more than my legs from the climb.
Strangers at the valley station. Friends by sunrise.

Sometimes the best frame of a trip never makes it into the camera — it’s four people sitting on the edge of a cliff, saying nothing, watching the universe do its thing. Easily the most beautiful photo trip I’ve ever had.

And this is only the beginning: I’m sitting down at the desk right now to edit the rest of the Milky Way and meteor shots from that night — and I honestly can’t wait to show them to you. Stay tuned 👀✨

On top of Schafberg, Austria, witnessing the solar eclipse with some incredible people. Spent the night wildcamping the summit, watching the Milky Way and the Perseid meteor shower light up the sky above the Alps.

Incredible spot, incredible event, incredible people. What else do you want?

Third annual adventure trip with the boys. 🇬🇪

Stepping foot in a country where nature is close to untouched, where locals ride horses over the mountains and cross fast-moving rivers.

The scale of this place is extraordinary, vast lands with tiny, ancient villages planted within.

Goosebumps thinking back on those panoramas. The massive glaciers, high peaks, and flower meadows stretching the Georgian landscapes.

All photos taken on the Mestia - Ushguli trail and Tbisili.

Currently back in the Dolomites, healing from a little injury but so happy being back in the mountains.

A centuries old Svan defense tower standing in solitude in Ushguli, one of Europe’s highest permanently inhabited villages.

Behind it the majestic peaks of the Greater Caucasus.

There’s something special about places like this. It feels like stepping back in time, a landscape where centuries of history and raw wilderness come together in one unforgettable view.

The 5,000-meter peaks of the Caucasus still leave me in awe.

While I am Busy editing the photos before heading back to Dolomites, here is a first few panorama views of the incredible landscapes we have seen from Mestia to Ushguli.

Georgia is simply epic.

Multi day trek in the Caucasus mountain range, giant peaks, orthodox churches, wild horses, unlimited dogs, amazing company and multiple days of unbelievable adventure.
