Almost a decade of beats, crates and late-night sessions.
What started in 2015 as a shared love for 1990s hip-hop culture, jazz and dusty drums has grown into something we all would have never expected, for the best and for the worst. Still, we’re championing a sound and a scene. We thank all the artists that have trusted us for a decade, many of them we can call friends.

For this 10th Anniversary Compilation, we celebrate these producers and people who shaped our journey.

A snapshot of where instrumental hip hop stands today: boom bap roots, jazz influences, soul textures and forward-thinking beatmaking.

Released digitally and on a limited edition cassette, this compilation is both a tribute and a statement — the art of beat-making is alive, evolving, and louder than ever.

Starring:
@swum , @titus_martinu , @phoniksbeats , @flofilz , @samuwbeats & @louk_around_you , @saib_eats , @konteks_beats , @madmaxbeats_ , @thedeli23 , @the_breed_producer , @shuko_music , @klimbeats , @koralle.beats , @12vince47 , @moderatormusic & @billaqause , @_kalaido , @emapea.music , @mamaaiutomusic & @daphnebeats , @alcynoos , @djgrumble , @saltyyyy.v , @the_twza , @wun__two , @philanthrope__ & @invention_beats _

Big love to all the artists for the trust and the music.
Also shoutout to @spotify and @deezer for supporting this compilation.
A huge thanks to @zzoeykimm who made the original cover and to @la.dessinance who created the layout variations.
And endless thanks to everyone listening, digging and supporting since day one.

Peace.

Not sure if this is the smartest way to do it, because many/most things sound pretty awful when done as a MIDI sketch. But being on a pretty tight budget I always wanted to get a good idea of „is it worth the financial headache?“ before booking anything.
